I thought Cuttino would win 3pt contest, but he got close....

so I think I'll have to go with his backcourt buddy, Stevie Franchise to win dunk contest....

yes, just put ISHUMAN to TRUE to team that have player participating on that event like in my slamdunk contest, i can put ISHUMAN to TRUE for minny, nj and orlando....

But i've done the opposite.... i let the computer control all players even Kobe Bryant to make the contest interesting coz i sucks in slamdunk (i dont have gamepad  )

thanks for all who participate as of now. hope to see other's pick...

Dude! You should find a way to get all of those pictures on somewhere! Cause it would be crazy as hell. Maybe send it to my gmail account and I’ll host it or something?
Get back to me on this idea!
And really looking forward to the contest stuff!

Final Round Scoreboard

Bryant Soars Perfectly High to Become Slamdunk King

Image

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 19 -- In a night full of tosses and between the legs acts, Bryant turned boos to cheers as he displayed his high-leaping ability and acrobatic style to bag his 2nd Slamdunk trophy in 7 years. Bryant defeated Kevin Garnett in what could have been the best contest we’ve seen in a long time, maybe since Jordan and Wilkins slamdunk duel. The game features 11 perfect scores of 50 out of the 15 innovative dunks from the 4 competitors.

Bryant finished with a score of 245 in 5 dunks including a tiebreaker dunk. Ironically this was the dunk that he failed to register a perfect score. Garnett finished the 1st round with a perfect score but got a lower score in the final round coz of a similar dunk from Bryant.

Richard Jefferson and Steve Francis failed to advance to the final round. Francis, in his first attempt, made the simplest dunk in the contest but gave the fans one of the best dunk in his 2nd attempt.

“I made an awkward toss which makes it hard to catch it. So when I grabbed the ball I just did a two-handed dunk. Well I got a 45 point, that high but unfortunately those guys got a high score from relatively difficult dunk,” Francis said.

On the other hand, RJ forced a tiebreaker round with Bryant and Garnett with his windmill dunk on his 1st attempt and a left-handed dunk in hi second. In the tiebreaker round, he got a questionable score which resulted some boos for the 5 judges.

“Yeah, I’ve made a windmill dunk before that but it’s a different dunk, I don’t know why they gave me a 41 for that. But I guess that trophy was not meant to be mine. I’m still happy I was invited to join this event, “said Jefferson, talking about his tiebreaker dunk.

Bryant was welcome by fans with boos right from his introduction until he stepped in the court for his 1st dunk. But after the making a frontflip, between the legs and a jam, the arena now filled with a mixed reaction. Some who were booing him were now giving him a clap. And every time he stepped to make a dunk, fans started cheering him and encouraging him to do more difficult dunk. In the end the boos became cheers and “Kobe chants” you won’t expect from mostly Denver fans.

“That was a great feeling for me. Fans cheering me were more precious than the trophy. The trophy maybe the icing on the cake, I thought I will get another bad memory just like what happen in Philly and LA,” Bryant said.

In an interview form some fans, he said that “these moments were for us basketball fans, we just go here to watched basketball and let those off-court issues not get in the way.”

Another one said that he’s not angry with Bryant. “I have no problem with Kobe coz I don’t even know the girl that accused him so why got angry to a person never made any trouble to me personally. He deserved the award nonetheless.

After taking a lead after the 1st dunk in the final, Bryant needed 43 to tie and 44 to win. He executed his winning dunk. Garnett, already knew he lost, tried one difficult dunk and he successfully made it. In the end it was the best dunk of the contests.

“There was no more pressure after Kobe made that dunk. So I tried it coz even if I missed the outcome will not change. And I pull it through, I just do it for the fans,” KG said.

Bryant will join Dominique Wilkins, Harold Miner, Michael Jordan and Jason Richardson as 2-time Slamdunk King with only MJ and J-Rich winning it back-to-back.

"If given the oppurtunity to defend it next I will do it. I never got the chance to do it when i won this contest 7 years ago," said Bryant who will try to be the first player to win this event 3 times.
