Pretty nice story! I love Dunleavy and hate Livingston, but that wasnt what your team is really needing (Y)
Anyway being 18-11, i dont think your team need anything else...

Tue Apr 15, 2008 5:51 pm

too bad for not accepting...I would probably accept the offer just to reunite the Dunleavy's family :)

it would be really interesting to see how Ellis would play point guard position.

great read (Y)

Nice writing there. I think part of the reason I actually kept reading on was I couldn't tell until at the end of the story whether or not you were pulling the trigger on the trade or not.

Wed Apr 16, 2008 8:13 pm

Nice behind the scenes, should have accepted it. Ellis would have played PG, Llyod would be in C, Josh Smith in PF, Manu at SF and Dunleavy at SG

Fri Apr 18, 2008 5:24 am

Deidei what about Marvin Williams?
Besides your team is good the way it is. Please keep it up (Y) (Y) (Y) (Y)

I love this dynasty. Keep it up, you are doing a great job! (Y) (Y)

Yet another stupid post. Why would it be good for every single starter to play out of position?

Mon Apr 28, 2008 10:33 am

Bump! I know your 360 is on the mend, but why not use this opportunity to finish your Warriors? The fact that -km- left with only a handful of playoff games remaining may have been what cost him Dynasty of the Year.

Mon Apr 28, 2008 10:40 am

Hm.. decent idea, maybe I'll play that one out. Anyways, this dynasty is my main contestant for Dynasty of the year, but I guess I'll start the Warriors up. I should have started it earlier I guess because I get my new xbox back any day now.

In fact I should have gotten it Saturday, but the store credit I got from Best Buy (how that's their policy works) didn't work, apparently the forgot to credit it, but still mailed me the gift card. So now I gotta way a few more days, before they call me to let me know that they credited it. I was promised an additional free game, so its all good.

Mon Apr 28, 2008 7:19 pm

There's a Dynasty of the Year award? Never knew that one. You're still doing great with everything.

PS: And as you all can my Lakers dynasty is Retired and I would like to announce that i'm strating new Charlotte Bobcats dynasty today or in few days. more informations when i start it.

Lamrock93 wrote:Nice story chapter. Its been a while. Every single dynasty has a story element now, but yours is the only one thats any good.

Sucks to see you not do the trade though. It wouldn't make much sense, but it would be a great story.

Thanks, it really doesn't make sense though, the lineup would be really weird.

Skillmatic wrote:Amazing trade offer! Makes a great storyline!
IMO you should go for it. Monta gets more burn! :P
Anyway, can't wait to see what's next. It's been a while since you've done a story.
Lamrock's right. Yours is the only one worth reading nowadays (Y)

Monta probably deserves more burn, but playing only 10 minute quarters limits him. Couldn't make this trade though, it just made zero sense.

homicide1550 wrote:I agree with you rejecting the deal.. Making too much roster moves will definitely mess up your team chemistry.. Really great storyline there! (Y)

Yeah, that's another element to consider, too many trades is bad for a team, and I already made a ton this summer..

Sanguango wrote:Pretty nice story! I love Dunleavy and hate Livingston, but that wasnt what your team is really needing (Y)

Thanks man, yeah we'll see how my team does right now, if we do worse, maybe closer to the trade deadline we'll see, but for now- nah...

Maree wrote:too bad for not accepting...I would probably accept the offer just to reunite the Dunleavy's family :)

great read (Y)

Nah, the trade really doesn't work for me. I have too made guards right now...

SpaceFlare wrote:Nice writing there. I think part of the reason I actually kept reading on was I couldn't tell until at the end of the story whether or not you were pulling the trigger on the trade or not.

Oh yeah, well I'm just using some basic storyline techniques

+deidei+ wrote:Nice behind the scenes, should have accepted it. Ellis would have played PG, Llyod would be in C, Josh Smith in PF, Manu at SF and Dunleavy at SG

That team would somehow be pretty undersized, plus I just don't think this is a good lineup anyways..

Williams has been coming off the bench for a while now. If I did this trade its not liek he'd be starting now..

Thanks for checking in for the first time. Keep following!

To all: the next update should be within a week. Sorry about the delay!

Finally! A return of the best dynasty here! My quest for the silver will resume soon.

Tough loss, the Pistons were the defending champions, and at home. The next game should be an easy win though. :D

BTW, stats plz.

Mon May 05, 2008 1:54 pm

Wow, ive been waiting for this  Nice update Chaser!
Manu and Lloyd are playing great...you get this game to an overtime, it wasnt an easy game though...you should be really proud of your team and how good this dinasty is and its turning on sth almost better! (Y)
By the way, the pistons have a great rookie

Mon May 05, 2008 5:44 pm

looks like rookies are dominating in your dynasty too. 2 bad for the loss, but nothing dramatic, you just do what you suppose to do when you meet them at home.

excellent recap though....

Mon May 05, 2008 6:11 pm

Wow...oh yeah that guy in the crowd has a big head  ,like..really big head. And Kaman shot on the 7'4 dude....where amazing happens Chaser (Y)

Mon May 05, 2008 9:09 pm

Nice to see and update back bro! (Y)
Tough loss on your part. But hey, it's Detroit! :P

Tue May 06, 2008 1:34 am

Too bad you lost, but the Pistons are a great team. Ginobili is playing great. And your rookie Lloyd is absolutley UN-BE-LI-Ve-AB-LE, i mean 24 pts, 9 rbs and 5 ast, who can you compere him to?? Maybe Lamar Odom just that Lloyd is better in everything exepct maybe ball handling, guy is amaizing.

Wed May 07, 2008 7:46 am

Tough strike in OT man but awesome to see this dynasty going strong (Y)

btw, not bad digits for Yao II!

Wed May 07, 2008 5:31 pm

Tough loss to the Pistons. I think Josh Smith might've taken a tad too many shots on your last game. Maybe you should have given Marvin Williams more burn.

Thu May 08, 2008 3:13 am

Hamran Sue

Thu May 08, 2008 5:14 am

a great dynasty Chaser, i just read the whole thing 'cause i'm new here. really great dynasty, the behind the scenes are great. i love it.

Thanks dude, but what does "its turning on sth almost better" mean?

Yup, Rookies are dominating, I'm in the process of lowering their ratings to make it more realistic, 2nd rounders shouldn't all be all-stats in their first year..

mandich wrote:Wow...oh yeah that guy in the crowd has a big head  ,like..really big head. And Kaman shot on the 7'4 dude....where amazing happens Chaser (Y)

Yeah, haha, thanks.

Detroit is tough, but I still coulda won, still fun to play after not being able to for a month...

Thanks, I say he's gonna be better, more focus in my opinion ;). Lloyd will be a Superstar...

Thanks, and yeah!

Yeah, your right. I dunno why I let Smith shoot so much.. he was so open though.. and he usually makes 1/2 uncontested shots..

Jing wrote:Hamran Sue

huh? Is that a real CBA player or something? Because in the game its definitely "Ha Sue". These aren't real rookies, they're computer generated... but thanks for checking back in!

Stats

Kaman is averaging 9.1 rpg, not 8.1, I know its a little blurry there, just to clear it up...

Mon May 12, 2008 1:22 pm

Nice win there Chaser7. Love the stats you posted. For the second i though Livingston scored more than Ellis because he was a starter but wrong. BTW is Llyod is the leading scorer for the rookies?
