Cool to see Ollie Rose join the team as well, an interesting twist after his previous battles with Perko for the league's MVP honours. A bit of a Walt Frazier-Earl Monroe situation there.badreligionau wrote:I'm hoping NBA Live 13 has a good dynasty mode, because I'd like to see you start a new one with D-Rose and Joakim Noah. I'd definitely like to do a more up to date Dynasty, or Association. Let's see what happens, though I do plan on revisiting the 06 Dynasty again at some point, especially as I'm close to finishing the season I'm currently in.

Good to see Durant and Howard back another year, especially with Howard breaking an NBA record.Ollie Rose is following in the footsteps of many Nuggets players; play out their best years but not win a championship, then hop on the Denver bandwagon for a title.

Good luck with the threepeat attempt and getting that tenth ring.

Prologue
The Denver Nuggets enter the 25-26 season with arguably the most hype in the dynasty era. Not only will they attempt to claim a third threepeat, but they're looking to become the third team in NBA history to win 10 or more championships. But who says it's going to end there? This Denver team could possibly be the greatest ever.
The roster to start the 17th season has a mix of youth, star power, potent role players and crafty veterans that could see them stay on top for a long time. The bench alone has enough talent to make a starting five for another playoff bound team; but as LeBron James would attest to, we can't look too far ahead.
Get ready for another installment of the Next Level!

So, who is the key-guy?

Haha I get bored of those generic faces so it gets too hard for me to go for even more than a decade when I play offline...would love to see this go 25+ seasons

The Starters
Stan Griffiths
Stan continues to be an efficient scoring, with a field goal percentage of .547. However, with James Palmer emerging, Stan finds himself once again becoming a forgotten guy on the offensive end. His points per game average continues the year-by-year slippage, with it down to 9.1 in the first 10 games.
Even though his offense is being forgotten about, on the defensive end, he's picking up his game. He's taken over Perko as the team's leading shot blocker (2.4) and rebounder (8.2). He's also coming fourth in steal per game (1).
Just like every other starting centre in the league, Stan is catching a cold on the offensive end. He's still however one of the premier players under 25.
Borislav Perko
Borislav Perko isn't setting the world alight just yet, but he's still doing okay. His stats are currently 7.7 points, 7.8 rebounds (2nd), 6 assists (2nd) and 1.8 blocks per game. While many focus on the triple-doubles, Perko's game has always transcended the stat line. Just about every clutch play by James Palmer has something in common; Perko is involved with it. If he's not making the pass, he's setting the pick.
It's unlikely that Perko will be an MVP candidate off these current numbers, but it's not out of the question that he can make a late season run towards the trophy. He's just getting warmed up.
Dennis Anderson
Once again, Anderson is essentially a non-factor on the offensive end. He doesn't get any plays drawn up for him, so he has to work for every point. He's still an excellent defender who can guard up to four positions on the court, which is why he's still a starter.
Taylor MacKenzie
T-Mac's 18.4 points per game average is slightly down on his previous season, but he's still leading the scoring of the hottest team in the league. While James Palmer still struggles to be consistent, he remains to be a constant in the Nuggets' offense.
It's interesting to note that MacKenzie will be a free agent in the off-season, and at age 34, he could be playing for the last big contract of his career.
James Palmer
Everyone knows the heroics of James Palmer late in the game, but it doesn't necessarily tell the full story. For all the hype, he's still a guy averaging 12.9 points, while shooting threes below 30 percent. He's not a guy lacking confidence; there's not a single shot that he thinks he can't hit. Palmer has great potential, and a part of him getting better is picking his spots better.
The Bench
Vince MacMahon
Vince has contributed in various games off the bench. He's averaging just over 8 points per game and shooting threes at 42%. He's also leading the Nuggets in assists, which is surprise considering a) he's not the starting point guard and b) Borislav Perko is on his team.
As the season goes by, it's expected that MacMahon will be a trump card off the bench once again.
Mario Carlos
Picked at number 10, Mario Carlos was compared to Gerald Wallace. So far, the prediction has been pretty accurate. He's an athletic guy who can get to the rim, as well as play tough defense and in a pinch, he could probably play a little bit at the four. An interesting fact about him is out of the 10 games he's played, he's scored double digits in all 10 and is the 4th leading scorer on the Nuggets with 12.3 points per game.
Carlos is earning a reputation as a super-sub. Dennis Anderson could become expendible if Mario Carlos keeps this up.
Dwight Howard
At 40 years old, Howard is still a high quality contributor, but it's easy to see he's becoming more limited with age. He's still an intimidating force in the paint, but his quickness isn't what it used to be.
Howard is third in the team in rebounding (6.6) and blocked shots (1.3), so he's still doing pretty well.
Kevin Durant
The Durantula has shown that he still has a little left in the tank. Over the 6 games he's played, he's averaged 16.5 points while shooting an insane 60 percent from beyond the arc.
KD has proven so far that a good jumpshot barely fades over time.
John Rice
Even though he's played 9 games, Rice hasn't picked up any substantial minutes. With a field goal percentage of 51.6, he's proven to be effective, but he has to be patient being in a rotation behind Taylor MacKenzie.
Axel Donnelly
Axel's minutes have been limited once again, with Borislav Perko, Stan Griffiths, and even Kevin Durant preferable options so far. Donnelly did however have a good performance in the Nuggets' Double-OT win over the Raptors.
Julian Chandler
Over his five games, Julian Chandler has scored five points. Things aren't looking good so far for Julian, and with Mario Carlos performing the way he is, it's hard to see it getting any better.
IR
Ollie Rose
Ollie has been used as the team's third point guard; kind of in the same capacity as LeBron James, but with less minutes. Like LeBron, his jumpshot has declined quite a bit, so his primary role is being the distributor.
With Palmer and MacMahon doing a good job, his minutes will probably be scarce as the season progresses.
Jim simon
Jim has only appeared twice so far this season. He may get opportunities down the line, but at the moment, the comparison he had with Adam Morrison looks to be an accurate one.
Lawrence Griffiths
Lawrence is counting down the days til Dwight Howard calls it quits, because right now, he's not getting much playing time. He's only appeared in one game so far this season.
