The San Antonio Stallions (NBA Live 06)

A collection of memorable stories from NBA Live's franchise and career modes.

It was all original actually. I don't think I've seen that movie and any similiarities is purely coincidental. Didn't initially want the Stallions name but it was the only Texan thing I could think of that I can make a logo for. I even have the psd.

Who's in the movie anyway?

Stallions get first magazine cover feature

San Antonio, TX - The Stallions got their first cover feature on a basketball publication since their name change with this month's issue of SLAM Magazine. This month's edition of SLAM features the NBA powerhouses, teams who are considered to have bulked up their already talented roster significantly with offseason acquisitions and are favorites to win the championship. These teams are namely the San Antonio Stallions, who have signed free agents Michael Finley and Nick Van Exel as well as Argentinian big man Fabricio Oberto, and the Miami Heat, who have acquired Antoine Walker, Jason Wiliams and James Posey through a three way mega-trade and and Gary Payton through free agency. The feature will tackle virtually everything from the upper management to coaches to the plays and, of course, the players themselves. With this double feature comes 2 different special edition covers. The first cover is for the Stallions which shows 2005 NBA Finals MVP Tim Duncan and Tony Parker while the second cover is for the Miami Heat which shows All-stars Shaquille O'Neal and Dwyane Wade.

The jersey switch was very badly done actually...especially the text...

Anyway, glad you guys liked it. I've been thinking about the dual covers for a while now actually. Might play an exhibition game against the Heat next

I'm loving the graphics of the magazines, keep up the good work. I also like the Rasho for Hedo trade, its a pretty fair deal.

Once again, thanks for the nice comments. As for the trade, I'm already having second thoughts since Rasho's been starting in real life

Shit that mag looks so real, great idea.

On Rasho, trade him, who cares if hes been starting in real life, its not like you have to do the same as the real life spurs, i mean look, your already the stallions :D

Keep it up dude (Y)
