Lakers Scout Brian Shaw flew to Spain to see a a little-known player from this country. Only few knew how this guy plays. But according to a source that contact the Lakers front office, this guy will be a steal in the draft. He is an effective player that any coach would want to have in his team. Showmanship was not in his vocabulary. He prefer to efficiency and effectiveness and this 2 words greatly describe how he play in the court. His name is Silva Biason,'Melo in NLSC, projected to be a late 1st round pick. But his stock will go high as most team will try to scout this guy. Celtic GM Danny Ainge already have his eyes on this guy.

Let's see his profile:

dunno how this will sound
but i find melo a very interesting looking person.
from that picture, he looks very intimidating, sorta like hitler. that such a cool cyberface
glad that melo was able to get in on this dynasty. and...
thanks for the sole comment from you jxuusa. you always there for my dynasty and in return.....

i'l try to give you a high ratings

yeah (Y) high ratings would be good, and i have a question... say you get drafted by a team that didn't have a nlsc player, and its higher than what you were projected, could you stay there... you know what i'm saying?
and higher ratings would be cool too

Sun Dec 19, 2004 6:24 am

Nice update...cool to hear that i`m gonna be drafted so high  ,but i would it be to much if i get a long sleeve on my right leg and on the left forarm a handband, and two colored headband :)

you mean if you get drafted at no.24 (let say Indiana) with no NLSC player. you want to stay there and not be pick by Sacramento at no. 30.? is that what you trying to say???

Sun Dec 19, 2004 6:48 am

something like that, yeah

Sun Dec 19, 2004 7:29 am

jxuusa wrote:something like that, yeah

well, i could do that. maybe you should pm me your other teams you prefer.

Sun Dec 19, 2004 8:25 am

hm, alright, and there is a list of those teams somewhere in this thread, right?

edit.. trying to find..not much help......

oops, i didn't notice your post
well your prefer team sucks (Golden State)
don't worry i will try to correct all accesories when i edit all cyberface in my dynasty.

Sorry i delete it since not all want to be in my dynasty. well just look on each scouting report to see their prefer team like in 'Melo it say something about Danny Ainge means he might be a Celtics.

Sun Dec 19, 2004 11:12 am

hm... time to rack up my mind and remember...... :x so.. hard.......
it would be nice to go high if possible. hm....well, micchy, i don't really care. i'll probably just take any team that i get drafted by, after you bring the stats up a bit of course. probably a worser team than the kings cause they are gonna be drafting pretty low... i'm looking at the standing right now..... perhaps charlotte.. or.. yea...... maybe just any team taht takes me that doesn't have a nlsc member.

Los Angeles Lakers @ San Antonio Spurs

Image

Los Angeles Lakers made their first 4 shots while limiting the Spurs to only 1 basket. As a result, they built a good lead and held on that lead until the end of the 1st quarter. But in the next quarter, Lakers gone called and committed lots of turnovers. The Spurs took advantage of this and outscored the Lakers 35-15 in the 2nd quarter.

Lakers tried to comeback in the 2nd half but the Spurs successfully protected their lead. Lakers only managed to cut 3 points from Spurs double digit lead. In the last period, Spurs were stunned to see their lead disappear. Lakers made a great comeback and tied the game with less than 10 seconds left. Spurs weren’t able to win by a desperation shot by Duncan.

In overtime, Lakers continued their comeback by outplaying the Spurs. Bryant led the Lakers with his triple double performance. Odom led all scorers with his 33 points.

Los Angeles Lakers @ Dallas Mavericks

Dallas Mavericks showed a different gameplan by putting up a very great defense. Lakers were held to 15 1st quarter points. And they’ve done it without their 2 best players, Nowitzki and Finley, who saddled with 2 early fouls. In the next period, with both players coming back, they even put great defense to hold the Lakers to 13 points. With the scores standing at 46-28, the Lakers need the halftime break to getaway from their shooting slump or this would be over before the 4th quarter.

Lakers showed some improvement in the 3rd period as they cut the Mavs lead to 14 points. But that was the closest they got as the Mavs made a run to hold on to their 18 point lead. 4th quarter was just a formality as Mavs didn’t gave the Lakers any chance to make a comeback like they did in Spus game.

With subpar performance from Nowitzki, Mavs got a big game form Howard.

Houston Rockets @ Los Angeles Lakers

Los Angeles Lakers came in the game still struggling to make shots. They again scored only 15 points and allowing the Rockets 25 points. They weren’t able to take advantage T-mac absence due to foul trouble. Just like in Dallas game, Lakers only scored 13 points in the 2nd period for a 28 point production in a half. Rockets 10 point lead was now double and enjoying a 48-28 lead.

Lakers weren’t able to make a run and only traded baskets with the Rockets. The trend continued in the last period and Rockets survived a dismal performance from McGrady who finished with only 5 points in 12 minutes of play.

Jersey, Start the Vin-sanity!

Image

In the first blockbuster trade of the 2004-05 NBA season, New Jersey and Toronto completed a 4-player swap Wednesday, Jan 05, that sent Carter to the Nets and Alonzo Mourning, Aaron Williams and Eric Williamsto the Raptors.

“We are very excited to add a player of Vince's caliber to the Nets roster,” said Nets president Rod Thorn.

New Jersey began the year slowly but has looked better and more in sync with the return of Jason Kidd from a knee injury. Carter , a five-time All-Star gives Nets head coach Lawrence Frank lots more to work with on the offensive end.

Toronto , meanwhile, has begun a new era. While the Raptors have traded the holder of most of their offensive records, they get flexibility in return. Mourning, Aaron Williams and Eric Williams bolster an already competitive inside presence that features the up-and-coming Chris Bosh and steady Donyell Marshall.

"This trade accomplishes a number of things that will help us now and in the future,” said Raptors general manager Rob Babcock. "This trade gives us some financial flexibility now and in the future."

Mourning made an impressive return earlier this season after undergoing a kidney transplant a year that ago that not only cut short his 2003-04 season but seemingly ended his career. But the seven-time All-Star and two-time Defensive Player of the Year lately has battling severe aches and pains that may affect his availability down the road.

"We understood ... the health ramifications pertaining to Alonzo," Babcock said. "We made the trade knowing that his health is such that he may never play for us. If he gets healthy, we’d welcome him playing for us."
