Holy moses, the Jazz are 14-1? You definitely need to adjust your sliders man.

Oh yeah, and Charlie Villaneuva is a great pickup for you. I'm glad that you got him. 8-)

I'll definitely be following this one a little more closely.

Well, I played couple more games, and these games are all under Sit's sliders, so they will be closer, much more hard fought for, and I tell you they are, I nearly broke like my desk playing these 3 games, so they are no longer near default, alright people?

also I was bored.... didnt feel like playing after 3 consecutive games... so made this, in a way inspired by cocobee's times square billboards... als i was just searching for random crap and came across this cool site, macbillboards or something... there were some really nice stuff, so iI deceided to give this a try... this is actually a pic frmo france.. but lol. whatever works.

Image

oh very sorry if it looks like crap, which I know it does...
I still haven't gotten around to getting a mouse for my laptop... and its kinda hard to do anything with touchpad... lol. so yeah.

did you adjust your length of quarters down in time? you could use an extra minute a quarter to get realistic scores IMO

14-1 damn....I'm hoping the new slider adjustments do the job

will check out your monthly summary and pics at work since they seem to be taking ages to load....

[SALT LAKE CITY, Dec.1] – “We almost gave this one away; this is defiantly not something that we want to do. We made about 2 free throws out of 8 in the final minutes, and we were lucky to be ahead by a good amount or else we would have come out asking ourselves what we were doing… The free throw performance today was horrible, and it can’t happen again.” Coach Jerry Sloan told the press after the game versus the Lakers recently tonight. Andrei Kirilenko, Deron Williams, and Charlie Villanueva missed all but 2 of the 8 free throw attempts in the final minute, allowing the Lakers to pull within 3 points. Luckily Kobe Bryant’s 3-pointer as time expired hit the back rim and bounced out, giving the Jazz yet another win.

Bryant was a monster tonight with 41 points on 14-30 shooting, as well as making 11-12 from the line. Other Lakers in double figures were Chris Mihm with 12, Lamar Odom with 18, and Sasha Vujacic with 16. Mihm and Kwame Brown were in double digits in rebounding too, with 14 and 13; 10 of Brown rebounds were offensive.

On the Jazz side, again 5 players scored in double figures, with Andrew Bogut leading the way at 24 points, followed by Andrei Kirilenko at 17, then 16 and 15 by Gordon Giricek and Williams, and lastly 12 by Villanueva. Mehmet led the rebounding for the Jazz with 7.

The Jazz were out-rebounded by 13 boards, 25-38, with 22 of the Lakers’ boards being offensive. “We really need to address this issue of other teams getting 2nd and 3rd chances, its really killing us; someone has to step up because we cannot afford any more close calls like this tonight.” Sloan told the press after the game.

Kobe Bryant was named the Player of the Game with his 41 point performance in the loss.

[SALT LAKE CITY, Dec.2] -- The Utah Jazz tried to solve their rebounding problem with the trade of Eduardo Najera for foward Matt Harpring. Najera comes from the Nuggets and has a repuation for doing the dirty work, grabbing key rebounds, getting key shots and blocks, and overall tight defense. Utah has been outrebounded by their opponents and the GM as well as coach are extremely unhappy. "We hope Eduardo can solve some of our rebounding woes and provide us with even more energy."

I don't like that trade, I prefer Harpring's scoring over Najera's hustle anyday.

It's kind of hard to believe that you're having rebounding troubles with a frontcourt of Okur, Bogut and Kirilenko.

well, i understand that you mean.
I do have shooters... Giricek and AK from the starting lineup, and I just realized that McInnis has pretty nice touch too. I guess this does leave me with only 1 SF, but Najera can shift...

As for the frontcourt getting outrebounded.. It is true, I turned Off. Rebounding down a shitload.. and they still can't get the ball... and I have Okur on the bench now and have Villanueva starting cause he's a natural PF. I guess its the main concern of prevently the other team from getting offensive rebounds.

and also... XD, i have always liked the Najera played because that was my playing style in middle school and high school.. I never scored loads of points, instead I scored like 5 points, grabbed like 6 rebounds, dished out like 5 assists and do all the small stuff.. XD biased.. yes. but I think Giricek and guys can easily take up the load from Harpring

[SALT LAKE CITY, Dec.4] – In a extremely sloppy game, the Utah Jazz managed to cling to a slim lead to overcome the Portland Trail Blazers. The Jazz committed 33 and the Blazers 22. Point guard Deron Williams of the Jazz had a “double-double” with 12 points and 11 turnovers. On the other side the leading man in turnovers was Darius Miles with 8.

For the majority of the first half, the lead was held by the Jazz. Near the end of the first quarter, small forward Miles was injured on a collision with Charlie Villanueva, and thus had to be replaced by Travis Outlaw. Miles was alright, and was able to come back later in the 2nd quarter. At the half the score was 55-50 Jazz.

In the 2nd half, the Blazers began to come back, with several big dunks from forward Zach Randolph and hot shooting from rookie guard Martell Webster. Webster was hot from beyond the arc and made 3-pointer after 3-pointer. He finished with 21 points on 8-25 shooting, with a 4-6 performance from downtown. The high scorer was Randolph with 22 points and 11 rebounds. Darius Miles and Sebastian Telfair also scored double figures with 17 and 16.

On the visitor’s side, again 5 players scored in double figures. The high scorer for the Jazz was Charlie Villanueva with 19, who also grabbed 8 boards. Andrei Kirilenko had 15, while Andrew Bogut, Deron Williams, and Mehmet Okur each scored 12. Newly aquired forward Eduardo Najera scored 8 points in 10 minutes of play. Villanueva was the player of the game.

At the end of the game, the Jazz were up by 3, 93-90 when the Blazers decided to intentional foul. This time the Jazz sank all of the free throws that the Blazers gave to them, and on the other end, stopped the Blazers by contesting the three and Eduardo Najera grabbed a key rebound which allowed the Jazz to keep the ball with time running out. In the end, the Jazz hit their free throws while the Blazers missed their desperate attempts to pull closer, and that was the difference.

Game Introduction: 1
Andrew Bogut: 1
Gordon Giricek: 1 2
Andrei Kirilenko: 1 2 3
Kris Humphries: 1
Darius Miles: 1 2 3
Eduardo Najera: 1
Zach Randolph: 1 2 3

Martell Webster: 1 2
Deron Williams: 1 2

[SALT LAKE CITY, Dec.5] – The Minnesota Timberwolves were a quarter away from defeating the Utah Jazz, but the pesky Jazz slowly chipped away at the lead until it was finally down to nothing. In the final 5 minutes, the teams traded baskets and misses until finally Andrei Kirilenko blocked Kevin Garnett’s dunk attempt, and then threw an outlet pass to Andrew Bogut for the lead. The Wolves had a chance to win, but instead went for the 2, with Garnett hitting the 15-footer. However right afterwards Bogut again managed to make a shot, this time a hook over Garnett. Again the Wolves answered, but then the intentional foul resulted in 2 made free throws for the Jazz. With a chance to win, the ball went to Latrell Sprewell, however the pass was deflected by Gordon Giricek, and ended up in the hands of Deron Williams, who simply heaved the ball at the other basket, and the clock expired before the Wolves were able to reach the ball.

Earlier in the game, the Jazz were having immense difficulty even getting the ball down into Wolves territory. In the first quarter, the Jazz managed to stay close and trailed 15-16. However in the 2nd quarter they were totally destroyed, scoring only 13 points and trailed at half 39-28. In the 3rd quarter the Wolves started hot any began to pull away, but point by point, their lead was being taken away by Gordon Giricek and Jeff McInnis, who all of a sudden found their touch. Each made 5-7 three pointers on the night and that was crucial to the Jazz’s comeback. Due to hard play, the Jazz found themselves actually up 62-61. The 4th quarter was much like the 1st, with teams trading 3-pointers and baskets, and Minnesota managed one more point, and won the quarter 24-23. Andrew Bogut’s last second layup was ruled after the buzzer, and the game headed into extra time.

Overtime seemed to be a continuation of the 4th quarter as teams again traded baskets until about a minute left, when Andrew Bogut pulled down a rebound and Jeff McInnis converted an and-one. McInnis made the free throw, but then the Wolves scored, and this went on until McInnis came up big once again with a clutch 3. Sprewell’s last shot missed, and somehow by amazing luck, the Jazz win again. “Incredible game… Never played something so intense before, we were working our butts off the whole game. We were down early, but came back cause was made some big shots, [Gordon] and [Jeff] hit some big shots for us tonight, couldn’t have done it without them.” Andrei Kirilenko said in the postgame press conference. Kirilenko was the high scorer for the Jazz with 22 points and 7 rebounds. Center Andrew Bogut had16 points and 13 rebounds, as well as 5 assists and 4 blocks. The Player of the Game went to Minnesota power forward Kevin Garnett, who had 31 points and 15 rebounds.

Game Introduction: 1
Kevin Garnett: 1 2 3
Andrei Kirilenko: 1 2 3 4 5 6
Jeff McInnis: 1
Mehmet Okur: 1
Charlie Villanueva: 1
Deron Williams: 1 2
Miscellaneous: 1 2
End Game: 1

[ATLANTA, Dec. 1] -- Scientists in Atlanta, GA have announced they have successfully managed to clone the late Hawks center Jason Collier. Collier 28, passed away on the morning of Saturday, October 15.

The "clone" was created using Invirto fertiliazation along with accelerated hormone and human growth cells. "This is an amazing breakthrough, though someone is gone, we managed to bring them back in a way." said one, unnnamed scientist.

Other than this, the media has not heard much of this. The only thing known is that this new Jason Collier will be able to suit up and play for the Hawks. He has been given every possible test to make sure that he is cured for any disease that took away the original Jason Collier.

The new Jason Collier has been cleared to play and most likely will able able to play his FIRST game of this new life on Dec 7th, against the Utah Jazz in Salt Lake City, UT.

Mass media however are very angry because of the issue over cloning. How can people be cloned, are they the same? Do you consider this Jason Collier the same as he was before he died, how would you treat him? Even though their genes are the same, their thoughts will undoubtably be different, and in a way this is not really Jason Collier, just someone who shares everything that is similiar. People are fearing for the moral issues concering this, is this legal even?

"We did what we did. This is a huge leap in science and I don't think anyone should be opposing this. " - President George Bush Jr. told the nation earlier. "In a way we managed to bring a human being back to life, and he can begin to live where he left off earlier, that is what is important. I will enbrace this issue and support it the whole way.

As for the Hawks, "we welcome back Jason with open arms."
