[58-12] Houston Rockets 113-94 Oklahoma City Thunder [42-27]

Chuck Hayes got his first double-double of the season, 11 points and 11 rebounds.
This was total anhilation after the third quarter. The Thunder managed to keep the Rockets close through three quarters, but in the fourth, they started jacking up more shots than usual. "The reason we shot over 50% from the field was because we were taking the time to get quality looks. Despite shaving a lot of seconds off the shot clock in a lot of possessions, we scored 113," said Shane Battier. Kevin Martin was really harassed last game by LeBron James, this time, K-Mart took less shots, and shot at a higher percentage (11/20 FG, 55%). "He spent a good amount of time yesterday looking at the game tape of our game before. He analyzed where he messed up, and came back this game with a smarter, more aggressive mentality," Shane Battier said.
"Last game is in the past. Focusing on this game, I knew what I had to do. LeBron is a great defender, and has great speed. The smart thing was to go aggressively at him, and get him into foul trouble, and that's what I did," Kevin Martin said. LeBron James had four fouls in the game. Yao Ming again had a below-average performance, but Chuck Hayes made up for it with his double-double. "Chuck deserves it, you know. He works extra hard every game for rebounds, and on defense. I'm proud of the guy," were Shane Battier's words on the subject.

Nobody other than Kevin Durant shot the ball well (16/29 from the field).

It's almost impossible to hold down Kevin Martin for two games in a row.
Donte Greene makes a cut to the basket and posterizes Jeff Green. Greene on Green.
[59-12] Houston Rockets 90-84 San Antonio Spurs [30-43]

The tough rebounding presence of Amir Johnson and Tim Duncan gave the Rockets a bit of trouble.
The Rockets have clinched their second consecutive 60-win season, and with this game, Kevin Martin has officially taken the lead in scoring at 28 points per game. The Spurs shot 68% in the first quarter, yet the Rockets were still able to keep up. The Rockets were able to turn it around in the second, thanks to some free throws for Kevin Martin, who scored 35 points and went 14/14 from the line. "Free throws are a very underestimated part of basketball. If you're not getting to the line and making your free throws, it's very tough to win." This comes from the Kevin Martin that shoots 95% from the line this season.
Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili were out last time these two teams played. They played this game, and though Ginobili didn't have a good game, Tony Parker was the performer of the game.
