Looks like you're still on course for another showdown with the Heat.
It was a slightly longer than anticipated break, but it was probably needed given how much time I was spending on this.
Glad I've reached 1000 replies too. Hopefully this can go longer than my last one.

Glad to see another update, shame about the loss though. Would you put it down to not playing the game for a while? I found I was a bit rusty when I picked up NBA Live 06 again after a bit of a break.
Sat Sep 24, 2011 10:28 pm
Yeah I was probably a bit rusty. Haven't played any games in a month or so. Kind of lost interest in playing when the NBA went on hiatus.
Only a few games left before playoffs though, so I should probably get back playing more regularly.

Good stuff. Reaching the Playoffs has reignited my interest too.

Always nice whenever you can get anything other than 5-18 shooting and getting lit up by his defensive match-ups from Bargs.

I prefer your big three in this to when you were the Thundzers. Good luck with the rest of the season and playoffs.

That's more like it.

Fourth quarter was garbage time. All of my starters were rested.

I wondered why everyone's numbers were a little low and Williams top scored, extended garbage time would certainly explain that though.

That was a terrible start for the Rockets, admittedly they're up against the two time defending champions but no wonder they were 20-53 coming into the game.

I don't really know if 'resting' players late in games makes any difference on this game or not, but I figured I'd give my bench some extra minutes.
Might come in handy knowing what they can do if I get in foul trouble during the playoffs.

I don't think there's any in-game advantage as such, especially given there are no in-game injuries in NBA Live 10, but it certainly works for realism/the story and probably does give you an edge knowing that you can rely on your bench players and use them effectively when needed.
Solid win over the Grizz.

Was Manu injured? How he didn't play?

Parker had a Triple Double

The 12 turnovers aside, that was an awesome game for Parker. Too bad the Spurs didn't get much help from the bench, nice win.
Mon Oct 24, 2011 11:18 am
Parker!? Richard Jefferson had 33!

Okay parker was way better, but you don't see that out of Richard Jefferson.

He's old. He and Ray Allen are behind Cameron Hunter and Marco Belinelli in the rotation.

Leaving nothing to chance with the drive.

With the dice roll approach on jumpshots that we know has been in every game up to and including NBA Live 10, that's my preferred strategy too when I need a timely bucket.
