Yes we are... Sort of...
I managed to play my first game in the dynasty a few days ago, but for some reason I'm experiencing random crashes ever since then so I might not be able to play another game... Oh well, I'll post the game that I did manage to play and take it from there.

    Sacramento Kings vs. Memphis Grizzlies

      Sacramento Kings - 82
      Memphis Grizzlies - 74

      (Boxscore)

Game Recap: As the Memphis Grizzlies hosted the Sacramento Kings for their first game of the season; it became quite noticeable that they weren't very aware of each other on the court, which directly resulted in plenty of turnovers and very few assists. That will most likely improve as the season goes on, but a thing that they have to work on is how they were unable to keep up with their opponents towards the end of the game and lacked any real sign of a clutch performance... They saw their 1 point lead, that they had taken after a strong start of the fourth quarter, vanish and was instead turned into a, seemingly, unattainable deficit as the end of the game came closer. They were both unable to stop the Kings from getting to the hoop, but also to get anything happen on the other side of the court. So even though the Kings were fairly weak in the last few minutes, it didn't really matter since the Grizzlies were even more so.
Mike Miller who is a notoriously good shooter couldn't get anything to go in the forth quarter, and was substituted out for Macijauskas who then made his first NBA appearance. And what a successful first appearance it was; he was 2 of 2 from three point range, which he made during back to back positions. But that didn't help the Grizzlies as they just kept on playing very disorganized. And as the game was over, the Grizzlies found themselves down by 8, which easily could have been up by 8 instead, if they just had played better in the forth quarter; or even up by 18 if they had played better team basketball.

      Reactions after the game:

      - P. Gasol: "We weren't fully prepared, that's all really. Once we start playing more together, the team will be doing a lot better."
      - J. Xu (Asst. Coach): "It was just the first game of the season, so you can't make any assumptions just yet. We got some of new guys who are still getting used to the system, so this is to be expected. We've seen so far that late game clutch basketball is something we'll need to work on though."

Left: Jones tries to use his size advantage in order to back down Bibby | Right: Abdur-Rahim goes up for the big put-back to give Sacramento a very early five point lead

Left: Wright goes up and swats away Hart's lay-up attempt at the end of the second quarter | Right: Macijauskas celebrates after making his second straight three pointer in his first game in the NBA

    ImageImage
Left: Stoudamire fouls B. Miller as he tries to get the steal during the last few minutes of the game | Right: Some disappointed Grizzlies players walk off the court after the final buzzer

      Notes about the game:

      - Mike Bibby got the MVP honours with his game-high 25 points
      - Pietrus fell to the floor and injured his elbow. Thought he was able to come back into the game later
      - The Grizzlies shot only 38,5% from the free throw line
      - M. Miller came off the bench and lead his team in points with his 18
      - Warrick started in his NBA debut and had 9 rebounds after 17 minutes of playing-time
      - Macijauskas made his NBA debut, and made 6 points in only 4 minutes on the floor

Next game I'll play 9 min instead of 7 and adjust some of the sliders... Might give me some better results.

I'm still experiencing the random game crashes, so I might not be able to play any more games. If I can't get it to work again I'll either just scrap the dynasty, or just sim the games instead of playing them (but where's the fun in that)...

Jing: I don't know about that... The constant nagging about your Apple-eating-successes is a little too much...

Fasz: I think you're over-exaggerating "a little bit", but thanks :)

Very tough loss, I love that EJ pic for some reason  It looks realistic, but Warrick only attempted one bucket. Just try to feed him and Pau the ball more inside and it seems like you worked with Mike pretty good.

Tough loss man.
I love those screens you too.
Perfect angles on those.
I see your starting Warrick. That's cool. Make him into a good rookie.
Miller did good from the bench and AM did good in his 4 min.

Memphis Grizzlies vs. New Jersey Nets

      Memphis Grizzlies - 79
      New Jersey Nets - 82

      (Boxscore)

Game Recap: The Grizzlies came out swinging and took the control of the game early. They displayed some real nice ball movement and seemed to have overcome their problem with finding each other on the court which was very evident in their previous game.
Only four minutes into the game, the Nets star, Vince Carter fell hard to the ground after getting fouled and injured his right leg. The Nets fans got a big scare, though it later showed to only be a minor injury that kept him out of the game. New Jersey still managed to come back into the game without Carter and eventually got away with the win. The game was very intense in the last few minutes, where the teams went back and forth against each other, scoring at almost every possession. With 17 seconds left in the game, Stoudamire missed his shot to get the Grizzlies down by 1, and the Nets could go back up the court; though Stoudamire redeemed himself when he took the steal and passed it up the court for Mike Miller who had the chance to tie the game with a buzzer beater three pointer, but couldn't get it to go...

      Reactions after the game:

      - P. Gasol: "We played good I think. We just fell short this time, but I think we got them next game..."
      - M. Miller: "Both teams played hard cause honestly both teams did their best to the fullest. Each team worked hard, nah' mean"
      - J. Collins: "Well we came out and played good you know, I hit a free throw and stuff... Yea, we played good, hitting most of out free throws and stuff like I did, that's what winns games. I'm happy with the game you know, I played good, I hit a free throw and everything..."

    ImageImage
Left: Vince Carter goes up for the big two handed slam, but bangs it off the back of the rim | Right: Shane Battier glides in for the easy two during a break-away in the first quarter

    ImageImage
Left: Carter grabs his leg after landing awkwardly and had to leave the game after four minutes into the game | Right: Warrick hangs on to the rim after throwing down the alley-oop dunk

    ImageImage
Left: Clifford Robinson goes up for a put-back dunk in the forth quarter | Right: Jason Kidd looks for the foul at the end of the game, but no foul is called yet he still made the shot

      Notes about the game:

      - Richard Jefferson got the games MVP honors with his 16 points and 9 rebounds
      - The Grizzlies continued their poor free throw shooting with only 56% from the line
      - Hakim Warrick and Pau Gasol combined for 29 rebounds

Well nice stuff, but New Jersey is hard to play, I lost clearly in my Dynasty, but I´m sure you gonna make the playoffs.

And say congratulations to Jason Collins, I mean, he hit a freethrow
