Record Breaking Night in Los Angeles
The Suns scored a franchise-high 145 points against the Clippers
Suns-145
Clippers-67
Barbosa and the Suns had their best game as a Suns franchise tonight
LOS ANGELES, California (AP) -- Tonight's game was most likely the most embarrasing moment in the Los Angeles Clippers franchise as they lost by 78 points to the red hot Phoenix Suns. None of the Clipper players or coaches were available for comment after the game and the Clipper fans started to exit the game at the beginning of the 3rd quarter. One Clipper fan commented after the game saying, "This team isn't going anywhere. I have been a Clipper fan every since the franchise began and tonight just made me lose all faith in this team. They really pissed me off." The Suns led 81-37 at the end of the first half.
The Suns broke a ton of records in tonight's ball game. They broke the record for most points scored in the 1st half of a game (81). Most points scored in a quarter (44), most points scored in a game (145), best fg percentage in a game (.633), best 3-pt shooting percentage with over 10 attempts (.714). "It was just a field day for us today," Stoudemire said who scored a team-high 33 points. "We didn't really expect this heading into the game, but after we took care of business in the first quarter, we knew it was going to possibly be a blow out, but not this big (laughs)." The Clippers had three players in double figures scoring, (Brand, Simmons, Maggette) and they combined for a total of 40 of the Clippers 67 points.
"We didn't want to take this team lightly at all no matter what their record was," Suns coach D'Antonio said. "I wanted us to execute early in the game and fortunately we did that." Phoenix did alot more than execute, they demolished the Clippers defense. The Suns had four players with 25+ points as Stoudemire led the team with 33 points. Shawn Marion scored 29 points and had 12 rebounds. Joe Johnson scored 26 points and dished out 8 assists, and Nash finished with 25 points and 10 assists. Phoenix will head back home on a short plane trip from Los Angeles to face the 4-4 Chicago Bulls.

KEY MATCHUP: AMARE STOUDEMIRE VS. TYSON CHANDLER (PART 2)

nice game, nice recaps. i like how u get the preview out of the way, smart
it also looks clean that way
from now on if ur beating a team by over 70 points, y dont u play the bench a lil more? lol. barbosa played 11, jacobsen 12, and 2 players didnt play at all. on the other hand amare, marion, and nash played 40 plus minutes. i kno its tempting and im bein a hypocrite, cause in my dynasty wen im blowing a team out i sometimes keep starters in for stats... so their season averages dont get screwed.
but personally, i dunno if any1 else agrees wit me, its a more fun read if different guys step it up. if i came here and saw jacobsen score 26 or barbosa score 19 and get 8 assists... that would be really cool. and y not if ur up by 40+ points at half?

Fourth Quarter Heroics By the Suns
Solid 4th quarter from the Suns, gave them their 4th straight victory.
Bulls-100
Suns-103
Quentin Richardson flying through the air for the one hand slam
PHOENIX, Arizona (AP) -- Joe Johnson scored 20 points and dished out 5 assists as the Phoenix Suns continued one of the best starts in team history by barely getting past the Chicago Bulls, 103-100. Scott Skiles was playing his old team for the last time this season and he recieved another lost as the Suns 4th quarter player gave them the victory. Skiles guided the Suns to a 116-79 mark and two playoff appearances from 1999-2002 but now is at the helm of one of the weakest Bulls' teams in almost 40 years.
"We just keep looking on the bright side that we are making improvements out there, but it doesn't take away from the fact that we couldn't win the game tonight," Bulls center Tyson Chandler said. The Bulls led by 5 points at the end of the first half. "We're pretty happy where we are right now and how we have come together," Suns coach Mike D'Antoni said. "It feels good and the guys have a real good chemistry right now. There will be some tough times ahead, but so far so good." Quentin Richardson had sparked the Suns run in the 4th quarter with his high-flying dunk that started a 7-2 run against the Bulls. "We knew this was a team we should get a win against," Stoudemire said. "We weren't playing that good and weren't scoring that good early but we fought through it. We are a good ballclub and down the stretch we have a tendency to show it. Once we got going it was a rout from there."
Amare Stoudemire had 15 points and Steve Nash added 17 for the Suns, who have won seven straight at home against the Bulls. The Suns improved to 9-2 for the best record in the league. The start is the second-best in club history, trailing only the 1980-81 squad, which opened 14-2.

lol, well thats true. it was just they were shooting so well and i just wasn't really thinking too much about the bench players that much. i will try to think about it a little more if i have another game like that because i do want to be realistic. i appreciate the help that you give me because i always look for ways to improve things for my dynasty. thanks for the compliment and i also have another game up against the bulls.

yea barbosa was pretty good for the suns last year, but with nash coming in he hasn't really got as much time. he has a good 3-pt shot which makes him even better. thanks for the comment. some more updates will be coming soon and im only 3 games away from the end of novemeber.

That pick of Q is ill. And seeing Amare dunk is getting old.
How is Marion matching up against the best of the west? Do you put Stoudemire on guys like Duncan or KG?

I haven't played anybody like the Twolves or Spurs yet so I wouldn't know until it happens.
as for amare dunking alot, well he does it all the time in the league every single game so why not?
marion is doing good against the western teams, but i haven't really found out how well they play because of my weak schedule early on. marion is averaging 20 and 10 so ill say he is doing fairly well.

BUCKS VS. SUNS
American West Arena, Phoenix, 7:00 p.m., PST
TV, radio: UPN45; KTAR 620
Records: Bucks, 3-6; Suns, 9-2
KEY MATCHUP: JOE JOHNSON VS. MICHAEL REDD
Johnson has been hot as of late for the Suns as he has averaged 20.6ppg in the Suns last six games. "He has raelly stepped his game up in the last few games," Coach D'Antoni said. Michael Redd is the leading scorer on a depleted Bucks team, averaging 21.9ppg. Redd is a very sharp shooter, which Johnson would have to really try to lock him up on defense. Redd shoots 39% from 3-point range and will reciever alot of touches tonight.
INSIDE THE BUCKS
The 3-6 Milwaukee Bucks are'nt playing playoff basketball so far in the season. TJ Ford is now back at the point guard position for the Bucks after recieving a tragic injury last eason. Ford's presence hasn't helped the Bucks that much look at their record. He is averaging just over 6ppg and 5.9apg in nine starts for the Bucks. Desmond Mason continues to play well off the bench averaging 10.3ppg and 4.9rpg as the 6th man for the Bucks. Milwaukee is coming off a 117-90 win over the Lakers.
INSIDE THE SUNS
It's still hard to tell if the Suns are really an elite team in the league juding by their strength of schedule, but they have took care of the sub-par teams that they should beat. That's a sign of becoming a graet team. Out of hte Suns 11 games, they have only allowed two teams to score a 100 points or more. Their defense has improved dramatically since last season and with a 6'10" PF and 6'7" SF playing the center and power forward position, that's one heck of a job by their frontcourt.
PROBABLE STARTERS
C-Dan Gadzuric
PF-Joe Smith
SF-Keith Van Horn
SG-Michael Redd
PG-TJ Ford
C-Amare Stoudemire
PF-Shawn Marion

Well I guess I'll post the same thing here that I posted in the general issues and techincal issues
Ok, I was saving my dynasty and I was overwritting my saved dynasty file like I usually do after I play a game, then all of a sudden my game crashes. So when I went back into the game, and was gettin ready to load up the dynasty, the dynasty saved as a roster so when I loaded it up, it was a roster and my dynasty didn't come up. Then when I went into my dbf dynasty file, all my dbf files were not in the "Phoenix" folder which is the name of the saved folder. So is there a way I can find the folders somewhere else in my main nba live folder and can any please help me?
