So, in other words, we own a unplayable game. Not all the time but it freezes on regular base.

Maybe, though I haven't run into the constant freezing issues myself. It is possible that no more official fixes will be released but I don't have confirmation either way at this juncture.

same here. i am playing nba live 09 last night using nuggets vs. suns and it suddenly freeze, the audio is still playing on play to play basis but there is no movement on the video at all so i have to quit thru pressing the PS button and reload the disc again. I just hope it is because of the game and not the console.

If you're not having any issues with other games, I'd say it's Live 09.

it doesn't happened in nba live 08. does EA games have a warranty? where we can ask for replacement if it freeze? it sounds weird but just wondering if there is such warranty?

another issue... i am playing thru online again last night then press PS button to browse and search for nba live 09 patch for oklohama thunder but suddenly when i enter in the virtual keyboard to type-in the words the cursor appear at the background. i can pan and move my cursor but it is in the background and can't go back to the virtual keyboard which is just on top/floating. how is that so? does it means we cannot search thru internet while pause the game? we need to exit the game then search?

Yes, they should have a warranty but if it's an issue with the game itself rather than being a disc error a replacement won't help.

I fixed my freezing issue by installing the game to the hard drive.

sometimes when you go to block someone's shot you jump completely the opposite way. It gets annoying after a while but i'm still really good on superstar level.

I haven't noticed as many problems with blocking since the official update.

I had some issues with it last night when playing a few games online, but nothing worse than Live 08.

Might want to try the 08 solution to it, tap steal first then block, don't know if it that works or not.

if you have xbox live silver (the free one) you should still be able to get it.

well i can't access xbox live because my 360 and my computer are in two different places in my house. I also don't have a wireless adapter.

Are you connecting to the Internet with a DSL modem/router? If so, if you can get hold of a long enough ethernet cable you could set something up temporarily to get the update.

i have a modem but my cpu is all the way in my back room on the first floor and my 360 is in my basement.

I am now 8 games into the first season of Dynasty mode w/ the Pistons and I've had the game freeze on me twice. It happened against Boston (6th game of the season) and I read somewhere that installing the game to the hard drive would solve the problem. I did that, but now the framerate is horrible esp. when shots go up, and the game froze again last night vs. Warriors (8th game of the season). Not only that, but there's another really annoying glitch that has happened twice. After a made shot, the inbounder will run around in a circle for about 2-3 mins. and I lose all control over the game. The announcers are still talking, time is still running, but the guy is literally just running around in a circle for 2-3 mins. then the ball is finally inbounded. Reading about the amount of problems with this game is very disappointing, I might be buying 2K9 pretty soon and sticking with that.

Sorry to hear about it. I guess I've been fortunate with the freezing issues (at least in offline play), the only issues I've had there are console related.

im sorry but my last 2 days playing nba live 09 have sucked ima just say it flat out to many glitches like if EA made it out of there asses fo real.

everytime im playing online it takes a whole whopping 5 mins just to download the 365 update which it didnt use to and i have broadband.

and then to top it off when im playing during online the 1st quarter runs smoothly then it magically just freezes the game pfff

i have 360 btw hopefully they can fix that inbound pass to his not even behind the line but still inbounds it

I haven't experienced any problems with the 365 updates in the last couple of days myself but I haven't downloaded any updates today.
