hey, so I checked my cache folder, and its only 398mb big (before I noticed it was more than 1 gig)..so whats the point of this cache folder?

The cache folder is used for the replays during games. The "current" file is the instant replay that you can access from the pause menu, the others are for the "gametrack" screen accessed through the game stats menu.
