I just picked up NBA Live 09 from EB so that's out early too, but they didn't have 2K9 available. I'm heading out again tomorrow so I'll likely pick it up then, assuming my local stores have it on the shelves.

Cool, its out early.
Do any Aussies know if NBA 2k9 is out early anywhere in Melbourne, preferably JB-Hi-Fi? I might pick it up tomorrow.

Yes indeed, I bought an Xbox 360 last year. Don't get me wrong, I still prefer my basketball games on the PC because of our ability to mod them and I do enjoy PC gaming but I've also been a console gamer since the days of the NES.

Yeah dude gameplay is so much better than 2k8. Tried the demo? Cant say much about online, cause they're still fixing it up, but i did manage to get a non laggy 5 v 5 game and it's a sick addition.

EDIT: Nuggz23 has sent you a friend request Andrew...

Yer i did download the demo. Pretty sweet. I like how they fixed some players jumpshots and how you won't miss make-able lay-ups.
