Everything between February 24th and March 6th but notably Stephon Marbury and Mikki Moore to Boston, Drew Gooden to San Antonio, Joe Smith to Cleveland. There have been a couple of other signings too but those were the main ones.

Are there any major player rating update or is this release basically a free agent signings update? I use previous roster and that's great.. (Y) (Y)
I've made these updates myself so should I download the latest version instead of v2.7?
Anyway keep up your good work!!

It's not a huge update with the last roster coming out just under a couple of weeks ago but I've probably updated at least 25 players in 2.8.

I've discovered that I didn't reorder the Knicks' lineup in the normal version of the rosters (NLSC0809) in v2.8. I've uploaded the roster again with the Knicks' lineup fixed so if you haven't downloaded v2.8 yet you won't run into the problem and don't have to worry about it. Otherwise, you can download this fix. Just extract the files to the NLSC0809 folder and run knicks_fix.bat to update their lineup.

Once again, if you're downloading the full package from now on, the problem has been fixed so you don't have to download the fix; it's only for people who don't want to download the whole package again but would like to fix the Knicks lineup quickly and easily.

He should have his signature shot, I didn't remove it. I can't guarantee compatibility with custom aiact.viv files, you may experience strange behaviour or even crashes if you try to use an aiact that the NLSC update wasn't designed for.

Sorry if I missed something .. I'm having trouble seeing the Roster updates? I got OKC Thunder and the jersey update.

Just wondering if there was something else I needed to do?

You need to load the rosters. Go to the Load/Save menu and load either NLSC0809 or 0809Uninjured, whichever one you want to use. Check out the instructions in update.txt for more information.

Could I install this patch alone? I have more NBA's on comp, other patches, and I would like to instal this patch my own.

Unless I've misunderstood your question, all you need to do is run install.exe after downloading the .zip file and opening it.

What's up Andrew, can you please upload the Uninjured rosters only? I assume the folder is not too big and it would only take a couple of seconds.

why are some of the cyberfaces & portraits (especially for the new players) still missing? the file mijorda.fsh is already in my sgsm folder... :(

faces troubleshhoting.txt

"The installation routine automatically detects the folder where you have installed
NBA Live 08 and should place all required art correctly. However, in the event that
it doesn't, you should run a Windows search for mijorda.fsh to find out where the
art has been placed and move it to your sgsm folder."

Has it been placed in the sgsm folder within the main game folder or has it placed it incorrectly? Make sure you've found the sgsm folder within the main game folder and that there's over a thousand files loose in there. If not, then the installation hasn't worked properly. Basically if everything's been installed properly there'll be no missing face textures (some players will use generic faces) but there will be some missing portraits because I don't have them.
