Missing Faces

This thread can be used to report any missing faces in the NLSC roster updates, particularly the NBA Live 2005 and NBA Live 06 updates. Please note that if you have a lot of faces missing, it's highly likely the art was not installed properly in which case you should consult Faces Troubleshooting.txt, included with the individual roster updates. However, if only one or two faces are missing then chances are they've been left out of the patch and need to be added.

Please note that this does not include players who are using generic faces or are currently missing portraits, this is for players who are completely missing face textures only. For a list of art updates I'm still on the lookout for, please see this thread.

I'm not sure if this is the right place for it but GILBERT ARENAS and TONY PARKER's name are not being said by the announcer, they are just noted through their number. I hope you can fix this because they the main players of their different teams. NBA LIVE 2005 only.

Well, it's not really the right thread as it has nothing to do with missing faces but I'll check it out all the same, so thanks for the heads up.

Weird though, their SPEECHID should be correct.

hi,, i just wanna know, if Sun Yue in the free agent, the former lakers,, really don't have a cf??
when i try to use him, he only appear with pink face,,

Looks like his PLAYERPKG doesn't match the art files. Change it to YUSUN__ and everything should work fine as the art files are definitely included in the installation routine.

what is PLAYERPKG? where can i find it? and how to change it?

It's a value in players.dbf which can be changed with DB Commander.

i don't have db commander here,, and don't know how use it yet,,
maybe i'll just wait for it to be fix in 3.3 version,,

You can download DB Commander from our Downloads section and there are DBF Editing Tutorials over on the main site.

hi, sorry for disturbing you too much,,
i successfully change playerpkg.

but i get more confuse,,
his cf still pink,, using the 09-10/09-10 uninjured,,

and when i 'm using the 08-09/08-09 uninjured, when his still part of the lakers,,
the cf works perfect..

what made me confuse is this,,
i'm trying to figure out the problem, so i take out the yusun__.fsh
yusun__B.ebo
in my sgsm folder,,
suppose to be he should appear pink face in 08-09 as well,,
but no, he appeard the same as it is,
having a nice face,,

also,,
when i'm loading 08-09 he had portraits
but when using 09-10 he don't have portraits,,

when i compare the players.dbf of 08-09,, and 09-10 they are identical, exactly the same,, YUSUN__
now,, i don't know the problem,,

Do you mean you deleted the yusun__.fsh file? If so, then you'll get the missing texture error as it won't be able to find a face file for the YUSUN__ PLAYERPKG value. You weren't supposed to touch any of the art files, just change that value and everything should be fine. In any case, I've fixed it up for v3.3 so it won't be an issue in future releases.
