and if i may add something, most of the time player celebrate after 3pt shot even if he misses.
and this is only defect of this great aiact

ok cool guys thx for the feedback.

i'll remove the 3pt celebrations, and try to add more shoot button layups. the main things that were annoying me were the amount if inside the paint blocks. The only remedy i know is to turn down the block settings. I only included the 3pt anims because i like the follow thru anim.I wish it just stopped there.

I just recently tried out your latest update! I will try to upload a couple of highlights from my time playing with them soon.

I enjoyed it really, but of course as Manni stated I wish there were a way to speed up the jumpshot animations (particularly for CPU-controlled shots).

only way i could think of speeding up the anim is using ray allens shooting anim because its pretty quick. let me see what i can do. thx (Y)

i added the jumpshot when you attempt a leaner 10 to 12 feet from the basket . (Y) Sorry for the delay, im working on the aiact and the classic teams mod at the same time. i'll try to put a screen up of '93 michigan at the other thread.

edit: the assignment.act is better than 08's by far. Everthing else seems to be the same as 08 as I expected.

Sir, maybe you can also add some new moves on the follow up dunk animations on the next update... If I'm not mistaken, it will be the same as the alley opp dunks? I've used some aiacts that have those... Hope you also consider it... Thanks... :D

Hey Bayag I think i found a solution to the blocking. It simply is a matter of changing the loco.act back to 08's version. It will work with the new anim files you setup. The running animations also look smoother. I think all you would have to do is re-add your run dribble animation because I realize there are a lot of animations in the 08 loco.act that aren't in 07's. And Andrew recently posted some files from NBA Live 09 Ps2 I think you should look at those too. Do not change the anim files. The anim files from 07 fixed the alot of the issues in 08.

Only difference i saw with some walking anims removed for '08's loco.act
It's actually more than adding the dribble anim from ''07 loco to '08. I did quite a bit of modification. I'll look into it though. Thanks atl (Y)

as far as the blocking, I replaced a few blocking anims with some swat anims not used. you're still able to block, just not as much. inside shots are harder to block now. check it out.

my game crashes when i try to play with the new ai... it doesnt crash if i dont put the plays into the save folder... any idea what could be the problem?

I'm not sure man. Plays dbf is optional, but shouldnt crash your game. Make sure you have the install the anim folders included. Theyre a mixture of '07 and 08 animations.

theyre still there, but only for scorer stars. They were confilcting with other anims causing some anims not to complete.

edit: hmm you gave me a good idea, check out the thread later today or tommorow. I think i can add the floaters back by making them leaners or when you move the stick up, which should bypass the conflict.

The updated mod was fantastic however I'm facing a difficulty in shooting the 3 points.. some players like curyy, thompson, korver and paul george cannot make a decent 3 pointers even in practice, i tried shooting from 3 point line and I got 2 out of 10.. I noticed that their shooting move in 3 point and inside the 3 point are different.. how can I make them the same?

So I re installed the original aict and the game stopped crashing. I dont understand why it crashes with the latest TUP rosters :(

all that 's required for it to work should be the aiact and anim files. you don't need to install the xplays ,xscnario, and scenario.bin. That may be the source of the crashing. Sorry, I only tested it with the classic roster im currently working on. (Y)

The aiact was designed to have different shot anims dependant on the shot distance. the earlier aiacts i was using the sigshots from Kris, which had tons of player specific sig shots. I found i was running into issues creating regular non star shots with his shottype.act. I decided to create a new aiact from scratch. I didn't replace the player sig shots he added. You can add them into back into if you like. I have no real interest or time to do it. :lol:

Look out maybe tommorow for an updated aiact. I took ATL's advice an added back the eurostep layups for non stars . differnt eurosteps and prohops can be performed when pushing the analog stick forward. Im just testing for bugs now

Gotta say that the latest version is once again another improvement. I've noticed some recurring animations with certain movements of the analog sticks, and I may be even to put together a little manual/guide of sorts. I can't promise it as I've been away with other things lately, and someone else may have to continue it were I to drop it. Good work as always. (Y)

thx for that. didnt know ;) in version 5.8 i have crashes too :/ i dont know but maybe too much anims? during match too many flashes and maybe graphics crashed

I've experienced zero crashes on my end, could be some artwork you have installed or something else.

Just asking why'd you remove the sigshots? They've been gone since 5.6? I personally saw nothing wrong with them but that's my opinion.

I still see different sigshots in my game . . . I just had to manually assign them to some players. Unless I'm not understanding something.

Yeah but certain players have the same jumpshots by default. The sigshots Kris assigned for every player were removed after 5.6.

Edit: Nvm I scrolled up lol shows how much I pay attention

Edit: Your jumpshots are so good that I can't even go back to kris'. I just wish you'd fix that high arc on the 3pt shots lol

NEW UPDATE. SUPERSTAR 5.9, 3.16.15

SUPERSTAR '08 AIACT

From Atl's request:
-changed arc for 3 point shots
-5 different floaters and prohop layups when you push the analog stick forward from 5 to 20 ft from basket. (non FSS players)
-new dribble jog anim
-Total edit of the pass animations.
-Added a few more FSS layups .
