The only thing I dislike about this mod is, I only seemed to be able to do the self oop dunk in practice mode.

I noticed the dribbling animation (guards bringing the ball from backcourt to the front court) have their bodies mostly vertical so it looks a bit awkward.

Will there be another update? Or 2 files with different poses for dribbling?

yes, I changed the dribbling, an update will be released in a few days hopefully.

the aiact is actually made for retro teams, so most current players dont have sigshots. a few current players are in the classic teams mod so curry is in there. he has 11 sigshots. his sigshot number is 911

There's a few shot locations i need to fix. I'm still working on it. Hopefully by the ned of the day.

Superstar aiact 6.3 released 3/3016
- fixed the locations of a few fss shots.
- added about 15 more fss shots
- added a new block animation.
- edited the loco for better 1 on 1 transition defense. you'll see the defender sticking the offensive player bringing up the ball alot tighter.
*** for better results change the opmain to 980 and the dpmain to 981 in teams .dbf

i've been trying to figure out a way to lessen the amount of blocks. even when you set blocks at 0 in settings i think there were way too many. I used a post pass animation to look like a half ass attempt at a block. kinda what james harden does hehe. This anim only shows a few times.

Bayag this is amazing how did you do it? and how to open the aiaicts pls help man. can you change the aiaicts of Nbalive06 i think the dribbling of nba 05 its much better than to 06 and the other under the rim shots, can you mix it or change it if youve freetime can you do it man..? :D btw i will try this . thanks

I just downloaded and tried the latest AI update now. Everything was good. Only thing I did not like was the defense pose when something is shooting, it looks like a pose when a defender is late is rotating to an open shooter. the pose makes the defender not jump up to block so I guess that removes the chance of me blocking the shooter's attempt (I noticed this also happens when I shoot and the AI defender also can't/doesn't try to block me).

I don't have a pic or video but I tried to describe the pose. I hope I did well describing it using words.

Oh, I am not sure if this issue is under AI since I am playing a MOD (NBA Action 15), but sometimes a wide open fastbreak dunk misses, like 50% of the time? Is this about somewhere in settings I need to configure?

just tried this on my SDxKnB mod, its amazing man. Love the fastbreak pass and those dribble anims. There's only 2 things that I don't like. The running anim, the player with the ball is dribbling so vertical its kinda awkward. And the other things is it crashes. last 3 mins of the 4th, I don't know why. But then again great work man. I'll wait for your next update.

Yeah, it did very often but I had to revert back to Live 14's aiact since it crashed a lot.

In my SDxKnB mod, it crashes sometimes at the paint area. And in practice mode.

you can import everything to my last aiact from '07 except:
shottype ,shotconditions and the anim files.
all the dunks,blocks and dribbling anims should work.

Can you make the blocking aspect the same as v6.0? I can't attempt/try to block shots in this latest version. Thanks.

Most likely not because you can only recycle and mix up animations already in Live 07 and 08. That lay-up animation was actually in Live 06 but it looked really bad nut no if you use 06 animation files in 08, the game will crash.

I reinstalled the game after 2 years and when i was looking thru my files i found an aiact i never released. I'm making a few tweaks to it. I'll release it soon.

Is there anyway that you can modify MJ's hang time? like +1 sec? than the normal jump.

possible or impossible doesn't matter, but your idea to update aiact really rocks!!

By the way, i've been using your AIACT, and one thing i noticed it crashes when alley hoop dunk plays the instant replay. So i have to turn off the instant reply, other than that all are amazing!

Thanks for the update! Good looking at my first test, but still comparing your v6.3 to this v6.4

On my quick check, not sure but i dont see the ankle breaker.

But surely will give u more feedback on the coming days.

i removed the ankle breaker.I actually forgot where i put the anim in the first place. lol

I actually like the ankle breaker, but it seems u got good reason to removed it. And i wish cortana can help you find the anim for it. :)

I dont tell the good side as its already known and appreciated.

Got few right now.

1. The AI looks more energetic, its seems they are running the whole game, which i dont feel that they make extra passes. That makes 100+ average points in 3rd quarter (using 6 mins per quarter).

2. AI makes a behind jumpshot (eg. facing at the crowd then take a shot)

3. Long Pass from outside the court, looks like doing a balloon pass

Are you using the plays and defplays dbfs included? You can try a few of the assignment.act from other aiacts to see if it makes a difference. I honestly think its a combo of the assignment aiact and the sliders that affect the gameplay portion of the game.

The behind jumpshot? If you can get it on video I can track down the animation.
Long pass from the back court ,I can adjust the anim from lob to regular to adjust the pass height.

How do you feel about the slower block anims? I tried to make it more difficult to block a outside jumpshot.

About the assignment.act, i will try this later on, i think i need to use more my current one.

ok thanks yummy. let me make a few adjustments. imma try a few things to improve the game play.I'll release a new aiact when its complete.

I found and fixed the backward shots. It looks like I had the bigjumpleft and bigjumpright as a turn around jumper.Now it's just a fake move for big men.
I also replaced the assignment with the one from version 6.3, so you'll see more extra passes..I'll update the new version tonight. (Y)

I love everything about the new aiact pretty. Cool Can u put some extra animations after fouls turnovers and made shots
