Dynasty Mode Problem?

Hey guys. I want you to ask why my NBA crashes in Dynasty Mode (more accurate it crashes when I'm simulating 30th November 2009) and some "Codebase error" is shown. My question is how to fix this?

It means there's a problem with one of the databases you're using. If you can be a bit more specific about the patches you're using and the details of the Codebase Error, one of us might be able to point you in the right direction.

I'm using the newest rosters made by you sir. And I can't tell you the details of the Codebase Error becuase the error doesn't open so I can read it. I played the game yesterday and everything was OK, but when I play it now, it crashes.I changed the players salary with the NBA LIVE 08 Editor. Does that could cause the problem, or not?

i also experienced that crash by database code error of players.dbf on workingdb folder with andrews latest roster also dunno why.

It's quite likely that the changes you've made have caused the crash, with a corrupted database. However, you can try deleting the contents of the workingdb folder, sometimes that resolves Codebase Errors.

I got the same codebase error with the players.dbf on workingdb folder. And I just saw that it crashes on every November 30th, doesn't matter which year is, but don't know why.

Again, if you've tinkered with the databases in any way, chances are something has been messed up. If that's the case, your only option is to start over or restore from a recent backup, if you have one.

are you also getting this kind of error? i got this since i installed andrews roster update even when i remove the roster of him and deleting contents of workingdb still crashes after i quit on season mode and already at the main menu it crash. (using the BOSTON CELTICS in season mode)

Try also clearing the currentdb folder.

already did that, i also deleted nba live 08 folder on my documents still crashes, just on that team BTW dunno for some teams yet.

Strange. I haven't encountered anything like that before while testing the rosters.

The same problem, bro. I deleted the workingdb folder, and I have to try again to play the Dynasty to see if there's any problem.

Try deleting everything inside your currentdb,originaldb and workingdb folders.Then copy the dbf files from Andrew's roster(NOT YOUR DYNASTY/SEASON FOLDER AND ONLY THE DBF FILES.DO NOT COPY THE DAT FILE) and paste them inside your NBA LIVE 08/database/OrigDB folder then restart the game and load your roster.This may or may not help so make a backup of your OrigDB folder if you want.

NOTE:This will also replace the games default roster with Andrew's.

okay i'll try it, how about if it is a save season or a dynasty mode? should i just load it again?

still crashes for me after i quit the season mode using the BOSTON celtics team i think i should delete it and make a new to see if it still crashes.

Yes, the NLSC roster is up to date as of the 2012/2013 season.
