Well, you can see how much art I still need in terms of the rookie faces. Add that to the process of creating all the new players, ratings and all, and it's going to take a little while. I'll do my best to get them out as soon as possible but it's not like I can just whip it up in a couple of days.

At the moment the only help I need is with getting the new art updates in there, but thanks for the offer. You can download the EA Graphics Editor from our Downloads section.

Basically it seems to me that in every thread ppl are askin Andrew when will he release the new roster with the rookies, I get it, im waiting for it too but he's doing the best he can so we can ALL have fun SO come on ppl stop badgering him u all know damn well that there are 60 rookies and that he's looking to include at least 40 of them in the game, so far aprox. 10 rookies have been made by our great patchers so try to stay patient till at least 30+ rookies have been made before u decide to get all over his case (if u have to do so), after all it depends on the other patchers too.

Well, you can see what's happening by looking at this thread. I've got a few people who've given me permission to use their new updates so far. As I get the updates in, I'll start crossing players off the list. I really, really cannot set an exact release date on the post-Draft roster so please stop asking. It'll be done when it's done and I'll try to get it done as soon as possible.

I will not be making any of the faces myself as I do not make cyberface patches.

Absolutely, I'd appreciate any help in that regard. For more info on the faces currently needed and the priority of different face updates, please check the list. I'll keep it updated.

Sounds good. I usually don't include any fictional jerseys (I love the concepts, though) but I'll certainly need updated jerseys when new designs are released. Right now it would appear the Sixers will have new designs based on their jerseys from the 80s, but I wouldn't be all that surprised if a couple of other teams unveil new jerseys before next season begins.

I've updated the list with the faces I still need. As you can see there's still a lot but we've got a few rookie faces in already and I'm working my way through creating all 60 draftees. (And before the inevitable question is asked, the rosters aren't ready yet. As you can see, there's a lot of faces left to go).

Please read the first post again carefully. This is not announcing a release; it's a list of faces needed so that I can complete the next release quicker, as I want to include as many faces for the new rookies as possible (as well as faces for others still missing proper ones in the update).

Thanks to the generous contributions of the NBA Live-LT team, I'm pleased to say that I've now got faces for all of the first round rookies (all of whom have been completed and added to the roster, please check back soon for a more detailed progress report) and quite a few second rounders as well. The list has been updated again to reflect the faces that are still needed.

Maybe you should not spend any time on Calathes, Pekovic, Kaun, Keith Langford and Bulleri, at least for this year as they have signed in Europe. Walter Herrmann too.

They're definitely not a priority, I've just included them for the sake of having a complete reference of players who are still using generic faces in the rosters.

List has been updated again, we're down to 17 draftees. From here I can certainly use generic faces where appropriate as I've already got faces for the first rounders and most of the prominent second rounders, but all contributions for the draftees will still be gratefully received.

There are. It's called the NBA Live PC Project. As I reiterated in the progress report I linked to, I will be making post-Draft updates for NBA Live 2005 through NBA Live 08. I need to finish the 08 rosters first, because then I can work backwards with the conversions. These things take time, the post-Draft update is time consuming enough even without having to make updates for four different games. I have got ways of doing it quicker but I can't just click my fingers and make it happen. There'll be a new update out for 06 but it's not ready yet and I can't set a specific date for it. For more info, please read the progress report but in the meantime there is actually an update that's accurate as of 2009 Playoffs for NBA Live 06.

Getting back to what this thread is actually for...

I'm now on the lookout for a David Andersen cyberface along with the other ones listed. Any help in that regard would be greatly appreciated.

As I just explained, I cannot set a specific date for the release of the rosters. I'm sorry but I won't send you a message when the rosters are released but when the rosters do come out there will be announcements on the main page and here in the Forum (plus they'll be right there in the Download section), so it will be difficult to miss.
