sorry to be less impressed but that article looks like an adverstising for the glory of nba live 2008. EA sports must have paid IGN max contract. THis is not journalism...

She said it is now very hard to dunk but all the community reviews out there points out that dunks are way too frequent and the defense is ineffective (build-in game obviously). So does she really (Hilary goldstein author of the article) have played the game ???? I think she just repeated the words of ea...

useless article...

I'm trying to keep the optimism at bay, I hear you guys. Your approach is the safe one.

fred.cad you have to understand that those impressions are from a early build of live 08 that is still four months from completion. So that means that all the new features EA is talking about are not fully integrated in the game yet. Hopefully though EA can fully take advantage of these new features because I think if there implemented properly Live 08 could be a great game.

for whoever was complaining about the article, yes most of the people that have seen the build have said that interior defense is weak. but those same people were at the community event saying how awesome it was that brent nielsen was writing down these complaints in order to fix them.

This has always been bugging me...Brian Ulrich is the lead producer for LIVE 08, but Nielsen is also the producer? Or is he the developper? Agghh...doesn't matter anyway, it seems Nielsen knows what he's doing with the franchise. I wouldn't be surprised to see LIVE 08 back at its prime one or two years from now.

Hehe...first post.

Brent Nielsen is the executive producer of NBA Live while Brian Ullrich is the lead producer on the Xbox 360/PS3 version.
