Sorry guys for not being active for this mod in the past few days....it is just because I have been enjoying playing NBA Live 06 with the PC Project installed lately.And I got to admit, Live 06's AI, gameplay and presentation(in-game cutscenes) is more superior than Live 08( only 08's sigshots, graphics and GTMS tops 06).Still, NBA Live 08 is becoming better and better each day because of this awesome mod. But dont worry guys, I will be still active on this mod. As a proof I give you this:



more white based on Live 10's cover layout.
inspired by vhan's strartup screen.
followed vhan's advice on coming up with something new.
so which is better: my first background or this background ?
if you choose this background, i will create a dwight howard startup screen with him wearing a superman™ cape( he is also wearing the 0809 magic jersey) to match with the red ,blue & white colorway. (Because the cape is color red and it will match background).

Hi guys just got back from my vacation to see you progressed a lot.This year will be extremely busy for me but please tell me when you want the music update.I'm happy to see so many people still play nba live but i have got very upset with EA's behaviour.

edit:ok i try it with the boot up legal and the boot up logo so here it is...i think it is to white for the legal..

Yeah, it's too light for it to be the legal screen.

hmm i suggest since the boot up legal is light color it is best if the background is a dark color???

ei bryan_c can u send me the scripter folder of nba live 06 i will try it to convert to 08 since i have now a little knowledge about hex editing cause i think that starting intro of nba live 06 is the best ehehe

Bryan_C., loving the background...but a lot of fonts in the game are white...so i would have to say no to the white base. HOWEVER i like the designs in this background more than ur first....maybe u can just take this new background (designs) and make it red (or any other dark color) based?

...also the "fence with NBA LIVE 10" image...the 10 i think is too noticeable...it doesnt blend as well as the "nba live" part

kram0829, i hot spots are still in Andrew's files that he sent...i have them linked to the TUP10 roster...but the TUP10 consolidated roster is only in excel its not yet in .dbf format..i also don't have any plans of adding the new hotspots onto my TUP09 roster so sorry i have no copy of hotspots to send to u.

George7, that is really weird (about only greece not working). anyways ill try to re-create greece's score art and send it to u for testing.

...ill try to do the intro again, but i know for sure its not kram's work because i had a similar intro previously...and it doesnt work anymore either...i need to do some investigating

hmm kidjustin i don't want the hotspots for tup09 i need is the hotspots for tup10 since im arranging the roster for tup10 and i need the hotspots so i can copy paste it in those add on teams that is the same player...and try to delete your whole scripter folder before pasting the scripter in archieve cause if you overwrite it their will no intro that will happen.

KRAM!!! THE INTRO WORKS!!! dono what happen or what i did different but i just tried it again and now it works.


...anyways why is the portrait background always nba?

its on the left side so it doesnt layer up with the scoreboard.
if kram's logo or the player portrait were just moved slightly it would be perfect.
