hey, jus a info on Josh smith and marvin williams of the alanta hawks. both josh smith and marvin williams are combo forwards but josh smith plays mostly Power Forward while Marvin williams plays small forward. FYI. and i dont tink ron artest is have a overall ratings of 87? its lik putting him on the same level as a all-star player lik yao ming? lol.

-figured out what was wrong with brazil players
-fixed josh smith/marvin williams...thier overalls changed though (smith by a lot +3 and marvin only a little -1) should be fine
...except is josh smith better than joe johnson (by a little +1)? ready, set.....debate


-not sure what to do about artest...i think 87 is ok? i think hes one of those players that play at an all-star level, but may never be an all-star (because all-stars get voted in, not only because of talent...all-star weekend is like a popularity contest)
basically...on that team Tmac = 86 and Yao = 87...at this point i think artest > tmac and artest =< yao...and i cant give artest 86.5 so being 87 like yao is good in my book.
anyways, open for debate and i will change if it is the rule of the majority.

sorry i keep doing that [re-releasing]. i just get it done and want to share it right away. i want to get the minor changes out there right away, its too hard/long to find major updates or accumulate a lot of minor ones to release a whole new version.

anyways. im working out ALL the kinks in my Package 1 before release so i wont have to keep re-releasing

...the default current match-up cannot be changed in the roster...the match-up can be changed by opening the nbalive08.exe through hex editor and edit there values...

Why are you debating about player ratings? That's completely pointless. Check some scouting reports and their stats before saying ''he's better than the other guy''. Overall ratings mean nothing.

i just finished adding in your new jerseys. and adding NT shoes. and right now im working on bryan_C's shoes/fixing the appearance.dbf


do ppl want
(1) appearance.dbf with BOTH NT shoes AND bryan_C's shoes combined
or
(2) appearance.dbf with NT only and another with bryan_C's shoes only

i'd assume so. just wanted to make sure there werent people out there that only wanted NT or only wanted Bryan's

the shoulderpads are a bicep accessory, under Arms

anyways...

update on package 1 release:

completed jokyu jersey imports (based on his releases...still waiting for new ones)
completed adding NT shoes (shoeacc.dbf)
completed importing Bryan's shoes
edited some of bryan's shoes (filename only) so they override the correct shoe
example: I picked a shoe that no one uses to override DRose shoe; KD away shoe overrode a white hyperdunk (now its correct); LB23 shoe overrode KD away shoe (now its correct...the LB23 shoe overrides a KB24 shoe...a blue one so dont worry no one uses it)
updated appearance.dbf based on Bryan's work + my edits
rearranged how kobe's shoes appear (more organized)
creating preview portraits for Bryan's shoes
creating preview portraits for inconsistent shoes (KB white, KB black, KB allstar, LB allstar, AI new, KD home)

sorry if this release may take a while. the preview portraits may take me a while. then im going to test it before release to prevent re-releases
