Albys, thanks for the compliments. I'm looking to release him soon too. At first, I planned to put together another mega pack consisting of t-mac, durant, head, nash, parker, mbenga, paul and powe. Now that I cant finish the ebo in time, I might have to release each of them individually. Whatever my final decision is, please stay tune!

GazuN, I was able to get in touch with Kal two days ago. He's alreay in Hong Kong, but the problem is that he doesn't have Live with him nor do any other patching ultilities. That may come as a bad news, there is a very low chance that he will be able to patch. Given the limited free time in HK, I highly doubt that we'll see any headshapes from him in the next two months. Obviously, this means I'm on my own. I'm trying to find ourselves a solution as soon as possible. There's a high chance that I'll be asking Master Samutei to make me some headshapes.

Whatever the problem is, there's always a solution to it

Mbenga is scheduled to be release today after I apply a few finishing touch to it. As for the other bheds with no headshapes, we'll see how fast I can get them done.

Firstly, an apologize from me for double posting.

Secondly, I've been working on Mbenga all day because I set myself a release date dead line which is today. After 5 hours of tweaking both ebo wise and bhed wise, I present to you this final preview of DJ Mbenga.



What I tweaked in the bhed:

- Remake the eyebrows so that it is correctly aligned
- Renew some details to make the textures more accurate
- Fix the blending in the eyes area

What I tweaked in the ebo:

- Totally overhauled the eyeshapes and the size of it
- Correct the position of the eyelids so that it is not stretched
- Make the nose a tad wider
- Reposition the iris so that he has crooked eyes as in real life

Lastly, if you have any comments, please do so now before I release him.

Eventhough he is barely used in the game, it is still worthwhile to give him a decend face. I'm sure that it will improve the image of the Laker's bench in many people's game if they download it After all, a patcher is suppose to make a patch which is least made anyway

From the amount of comments recieved, I will postpone the release date of Mbenga until I recieve more comments.

It's not that I'm being ego or self contented or anything, but I need to hear more thoughts and opinion about Mbenga before I can make the final decision. Without knowing what people's opinions and thoughts towards Mbenga are, I do not know what to fix. Therefore I cannot release it either as I dont know whether he is ready to go or not. I need your help and opinion to judge whether he's good to roll or whether he needs more fixing.

So bear in mind, Mbenga is on standby until you guys tell me to release him

Still, it's just ridiculous the way things work around here. As soon as A_NuKe posted in his thread for the first time in three weeks, he instantly recieved 7-8 comments and counting. The name of his thread wasn't even changed at first. That took like... 7 minutes? People browsed through his thread and intentionally leave a comment because the name of the last post says "A_NuKe"

Vice versa, I posted a preview since six hours ago, and I've recieved three comments. All this even when the thread explains clearly what's inside.
Not that I envy anuke or anything, but it's just unfair for those who's name isn't well known or famous. It can be really discouraging and disappointing sometimes for those who do not know. And this doesn't goes only for me, it goes for many other patchers.

I'm not gonna be too sensitive about this comment issue, as I fully respect other people's decision to post or not to post comment. I'm going to continue patching CF and serve the community eventhough I dont get any attention because this is what I love to do.

GazuN bro, if you happen to be reading this, you might be thinking "oh Jom, I told you many times about comments. I told you not to say that you dont get any comments again." Well, just bear in mind that I'm not saying I'm not getting any comments but I'm just saying what I'm seeing in general. I've been tweaking urh28's latest Parker open mouth model.
The results impressed me, but that doesn't change anything unless it impress you.

Let me hear your thoughts on this please, if you guys like it and think it's good enough to be release then this is the final preview. If not, please state what area needs improvement so that I can apply the final touch to it

the ebo is too edgy... it's no longer round you can see so many pointed parts in the head, ideally we should reduce those pointed joints in the ebo...

try to remove those edgy parts

if i have time i'll make you a good parker ebo with open mouth... this weekend

granthill33, thanks for your comments, but I like this parker ebo. I agreed that it is too edgy, but I can easily fix that.

If you really want to make me a new Parker ebo with open mouth then please do so. I'm afraid that would be a waste of your time, but if you want to do it then I absolutely have no problem with that. After all, it would create more variety

I'll fix all the edgy part and round this ebo up in the meantime. Everything about it look perfect for me except for those edgy parts.

I dont want to waste all the effort that urh28 put in for me by simply ignore this model and use a new one from you. It looks great to me and I'm going to stick with it. If you want, I can send this ebo to you for improving but I must ask you not to edit anything in the ebo except for those edgy parts. As I said, I dont see anything off with it except for the pointy joints


Oh, by the way, Mbenga is coming soon guys. Do look forward to it if you care at all
