Great patch Kris!
Kinda new here to NSLC. Anyways...
After spending some time with for gameplay fix 1.32, thought i'd drop down some constructive criticism...
PROS
-CPU offenses now run plays and set screens; off ball defense now becomes a big factor
--3pter is a deadly weapon for appropriate teams (PHO, DAL, GSW, etc)
--nice CPU help Defense at times (ex: Ariza beats his man baseline and attacks rim with layup, Chandler runs all the way from top of key and swats the daylight out of the ball, ball ricochets off backboards, results in CHA transition bucket.)
--some really nifty passes are being thrown by top tier PGs at appropriate times by CPU [ex: CP3 alley-oop pass to Chandler twice in 1 game].
--the offense runs a play until you can stop it then adjusts. (ex: PHO milked nash & STAT pick-n-roll until the ice caps melted)
--great close outs on screens by CPU, catches ball-handlers in effective double teams.
--have experienced clock management from CPU, which was a pleasant surprise. [ex: 15sec left in 2nd qtr, peja waits until 4secs, then acts as though driving towards basket and steps back, pulls from behind 3pt line and makes it at buzzer.]
CONS
--CPU players (usually PGs) in transition offense drive to basket with open lane, then stand under basket for a couple seconds and dish the ball back out (usually for open shot). usually results in an assist but the open lane and the hesitation by ball handler ruins rhythm of game. player should try to attack the rim and draw foul at least or eliminate hesitation by PG before the dish back out.
--occasional ridiculous full court passes thrown by CPU needlessly when full court pressure is applied. flies over everyone's heads; results in turnover.
--still the occasional PPPPG (Psychotic Post Playing Point Guard) syndrome. not as bad as before but post-happy CPU PGs still come up time to time.
**these next few problems might not be directly related to AIACT and might be roster issues...**
--not enough layups.
--no reverse layups present at all. not every player can throw down a reverse jam on the opposite side of the rim. players like AI become neutralized b/c of this when attackin baseline.
--spacing of HUMAN offense not what it could be. Increasin the offensive IQ of user will make Defense of CPU look that much smarter if it can still hold up with better plays being called.
NOTE: 1.32 patch (with ILT) tested with Webber1's rosters.
crud...my first real post and im post number 666. hah, where's that rosary at. lol.
