For anyone interested in modding i created an overview of the contents in xditties.ast. Now i know defenitly all about this file

and which files to replace for my mod.

As you can see we have 88 slots for replacing existing music. What i have to find out now is, which of these files are for player introducting, these then will be excluded, so we finally will have about 60 slots.

The MVP shoutings are not part of the xditties.ast! But i can remember that i already heared them ingame.

Next we should collect all songs possible and then think about which songs to include :wink:

The team chants are in team specific AST files, and possibly the xcrowd.AST file

What this patch will include:

Pdub is there a way to make them play it often? Because the chants rarely happen if it happens at all during the game.

Maybe you could add these files more times then one to the ast. By analyzing the xditties.ast i found out that there are actually some empty files, that act like links to already existing files. I can have a look at it but don't know if i can include it in the patch, because it might make the size exploding.

What i need now is more music and probably more advices on player introduction music. NBA live 08 uses 4 random introduction music files...

Don't really know about rock music really ingame(during play not during substitiouns or something!)... maybe someone could give me a hint...

Took the Boston Celtics intro now, now im having 4...

1. LA Lakers
2. Philadelphia 76ers
3. Boston Celtics
4. Chicago Bulls (old one used when MJ was active)

This is the first thing i will try out completly and will use it as main adjustment for right volume and so on :cool:
