Would all of these files will be compatible with Live 07?

Art is pretty much interchangeable between NBA Live 07 and NBA Live 08.

The only thing that's not compatible is the roster files, right?

Actually, 08 rosters are pretty easy to convert for use with 07. Just take the players.dbf, appearance.dbf, coaches.dbf and teamgear.dbf files from an 08 roster and copy them to an 07 roster save folder. You can also copy across teams.dbf (if you have artwork for all the teams in place) and shoeacc.dbf (if you're using the shoe update). If you're using the default shoes, you might have to correct some shoe assignments but everything else should work fine.

Andrew, I have an idea. I think we can replace the generated staff with the real NBA staff, (by editing the staff.dbf).

P.S. Can a team sign 2 scouts and 2 trainers?

We can indeed, that's something I did for NBA Live 07 a while back with my Real Staff 07 update. I've been thinking of making a similar, more up to date patch for NBA Live 06 through 08 (no staff in 2005) but I'm considering doing it a little differently this time, with a batch file. Replacing staff.dbf halfway through a season caused a few problems with the original update, so using a batch file to change names might be a safer way to go.

But there is a variation of it on the original live 07 stadium file under the name aseu.viv.

I've yet to test out the idea but in theory it should be fine to change things like that. The problem with simply overwriting the staff.dbf file with a completely different one is that once you get going with a Dynasty, the user and CPU controlled teams alike have assigned tasks to the staff, which isn't reflected in the replacement staff.dbf file. That's why I'm thinking a batch file that modifies the data automatically will work out better as it won't mess with those assignments.
