Not really. They have no obligation to provide us with tools to edit the game (as nice as it would be), especially for a game that's now three years out of date.

But NBA Live 08 has been trashed by them.. So the tool is useless.. Why they can't share it?

Again, they have no obligation to provide any official tools regardless of how old the game is (especially when they want to sell their latest title). It's also worth noting that development of NBA Live 08 PC was outsourced to HB Studios, with whom EA Sports no longer has a working relationship.

Yah but they should consider the patchers who still plays their product.. More important is there people who are loyal and still playing with live series..

why would they consider the patchers? they don't owe them anything...patchers do it all on their own

a billion dollar company wouldn't waste their time/money helping out random people (self-proclaimed "patchers") with tools that modify a product that they used their own resources to develop in the first place. No matter how much they know they messed up a game, they will never publicly say they messed up thus their product is in need of others to fix/improve it.

John_Wall R*O*Y, default crowd in TUP10 (so in addition to the xcrowd and crowd3d...each stadium has a crowd file in its .viv....and since they are all labeled "crowd" the entire stadium file needs to be updated and u can't just throw/grab files from the sgsm for the crowd)

lorico, it may or may not work, all testing was done with everything combined. However the reason why it was separated was 1) smaller download packs 2) users can customize their nba live

however with #2, its at ur own risk

and the crowd is the patch, we don't redistribute separate files

1. Create a Copy of you Save Roster (TUP10)
2. The created copy will be named "Copy of TUP10"
3. Override the teams.dbf from the "dynastyseason safe" folder to the Copy of TUP10 folder
4. Start the game
5. Go to load the roster
6. Load "Copy of TUp10" save
7. Start Dynasty
8. Save Dynasty
9. (Optional) after you save, when you exit the game, you are free to delete the "Copy of TUP10" folder

i'll be adding that to the README for future reference

I did a fresh install of NBA Live 08 in my cousin's PC then I included TUP10, copied all files correctly to their corresponding folder. Only one thing I noticed is that some teams' Jersey Previews doesn't show correctly and also some doesn't even show up (meaning they're jersey previews were blank) though when I played them in-game the jerseys show up correctly and works fine not even a crash. I copied all files from the Jersey folder of TUP10. Am I missing something?

which jerseys specifically? did u also download/install the update package 1?
