NBA LIVE 10 TUP HQ:Boom Goes The Dynamite!UPDATE PACK 3 OUT!

the README clearly tells you to put all FILES into the sgsm

so go into each section and grab files and put them into the sgsm...no matter how many folders there are...

the only EXCEPTION is the "Folder Updates"....those will have the files go folder to folder

...i dont get why people get so confused about that....do i need to write out every single step? George7 any ideas on changes to the README? i can roll out a new one in the 2nd update

also I've been reading up at the "Dynasty Questions" thread talking about player age in dynasty mode...how would u guys like me to have an additional, optional player.dbf that made the players older...for dynasty purposes only? it would be released similar to the "dynastyseason safe" folder that goes with the roster release

I have put the folders where they need to be. I also downloaded Update 1 and put those files where they needed to be.

However, I have a few problems (nothing major):
1. The scoreboard in-game is just the generic NBA Live scoreboard, not TNT. (Is it supposed to be that way?)
2. The screen wipes say NBA Live 07, not TNT.
3. I can't find the roster update in-game. I copied all of the files from TUP10v.2.rar (except the teams.dbf because I don't know where that goes) into the NBA Live 08 saves folder, but they don't show up in-game. Is the teams.dbf necessary to make the roster files work? Or did I do something wrong?

Please excuse my stupidity. I'm new to this.

1. no its not suppose to be like that. the README says that sections such as "Art" or "Logos" have folders in them...but you must take the FILES from each folder and put them into the sgsm
ONLY the "Folder Updates" section goes folder to folder!
2. step 1 should fix that
3. i guess it can be more clear....but the "TUP10" folder or the "TUP10v.2" folder has to be extracted as a folder, NOT FILES. (default NBA LIVE 08 saves each roster/save file as a folder with .dbf entries or files inside the folder...i thought most people would already know that...)

George7, as soon as my comp is up and running i'll work on that for the next update. do u have any ideas on revising the README?

I think I have it down now, but a few more things (I'm really sorry if this is wasting your time):

In the Main Folder updates > Database, what should I do with the OrigdbXbx folder? In the NBA Live 08 Database folder, there is only an OrigDb folder. However, in the TUP 10 Database folder, there is an OrigDb and an OrigdbXbx folder.

Do you know why mutiple players have stripes on their face and neck (maybe it has to do with the directory thing?)

I uninstalled NBA Live 08, reinstalled it, and then added all of the files into their respective folders/areas, but the TNT wipes and score overlay still didn't work. I did make sure that I put all of the files (no folders) from Arts and Logos into the sgsm folder.

OrigdbXbx....just put the entire folder in the Database folder

stripe faced....either we didnt create a CF for them yet (esp. national teams) OR u installed the "Faces Tats Hair" section wrong

overlays...sounds like u did it right...i'll see what i can think of when i have time and come back to u on that

OK. I finally have it figured out. Thank you for all of your time.

I downloaded Face Tats Hair from Megaupload instead of the NLSC server and now it works.

Overlays - I thought I had copied them the first time, but apparently I hit the wrong button. I redid it and now it works.

The only thing not working is the TNT wipe. It still says NBA Live 07. Would you mind just telling me the file name?

Sounds like a good idea to me. Feel free to make use of Age Fix 08 if it'll be any help. Otherwise it shouldn't be too difficult to make one up for the TUP roster.

Its good to have roster that for dynasty mode only.. No retirements I tried it yesterday but Its hard to change those ages of over 1k players

Andrew, thanks! i'v never looked at the age fix, but i edit the TUP roster with excel...and im a pretty good excel wiz...so i can update the entire roster in a few seconds.

which is good since since id have to create a new age players.dbf everytime i update the main players.dbf

players with only 1 year left stayed 1 year...

players with more than 1 year were reduced

...i also updated the new signed players contracts, estimates only though until the official ones are released

it'll come out with the new update

how about their salaries?

wew there's so many things to update..


BTW I'm not yet finish updating the TUP09 NTs.. sorry for that..

Yeah it's pretty easy to do with formulas in Excel. Basically how I created the batch file for the Age Fix.

It says that you should release wanted player/s from the Int'l team to Free agents ryt??

CAn i Ask?? How many players should I release to the F.A?, for me to use the dynastyseason safe???

King Dee, as far as the mutli-year players...their contracts are updated
as far as new signings...theirs are estimates until hoopshype updates the salary page

ok so dynastyseason safe basically changes the international team from normal nba to fiba type

if u want a player from the international team in dynasty mode u have to release them from the international team into the FA pool while the international team is still an nba type (u wont be able to do this if the international team is fiba type)
u can release as many or as few (or none) as u want...its completely optional

can i ask...
is the preview of the score in the end of the game still NBA LIVE 09
or my installation of the TUP10 is incorrect...

by the way the patch is so coooooooooooooool...

Do NOT extract/install the following files:

I Did not install this files and i have the same problem at the end game score layout for example :

Nba Live 09 (and it should be Nba Live 10)
Lakers 121
Heat 100
