great fix kris!
just three more problems imo:
1. fancy passes - it is just too disturbing to see guys like diop and petro passing behind their backs. add fancy passes to the playmakers and separate them from regular passes

2. players driving too much to the hole - i understand this is to remove the pg stopping and passing out during wide open fastbreaks, but can you at least make it somewhere in between the first gxu and the fix? i wouldnt mind seeing the pg problem appearing from time to time just to make the players stop driving madly to the hoop everytime.

3. too few passes - must be a byproduct of number 2. a previous aiact of yours, 6.12 i think? was very good in that the cpu passed frequently and wisely without making turnovers and without the bug wherein two players would just pass the ball between themselves

if you can address these three problems kris, maybe you can hang your aiact jersey already, because it quite probably is already the best that we can make out of the pile of **** that is Live 08. not that your aiact isnt good, it is the best aiact patch ever, trust me. just those three problems, and your aiact jersey will be hung in nlsc rafters.

first of all thank you for your time!sorry for being ignorant on those technical jobs.. :oops:

as you said,i have sent to you (on your yahoo account,jungorer) the aiact file of mine, its from the thread of our bro clydeli which also includes the xanims.viv and xsyms.viv files.the aiact is based on your SGPF. ive noticed that the size of the xanims and xsyms of clydeli is larger than the animation files on your latest patch. since i have no idea what are inside those files,i believe what makes it larger are some animations that are not included in your latest fix,just my wild guess. :lol:

Hi, im new to the 08 game..
I installed your patch immediately and didnt even play it out of the box.
I have been playing it for 2 days with lakers and I can beat any team on superstar with 20pts diff in 3min quarters.
I can just pass to bryant and get him to the rim without dribbling or running and just dunk..where is the fun in that?
Defence is so weak compared to 2005..
I cant even imagine how shitty the game is without patches..
I hope for 2k9 on PC..EA is getting worse with every game..

Hey Kris, aren't you guys working on a NBA Live 09 patch for nba live 08? i couldn't find the thread after being there once and i would love to see the thread and the progress... how much longer must you keep us waiting

EDIT: oh yea, where do i put the dbf file in your gameplay patch? it's labeled "plays" but i have no idea where to put it. theres no instructions on it... and how do you even call the plays.. lol i've never figured it out

The thread was closed because we are going to make a new one we will be going to make a new thread for it once NBALIVE 2009 is nearing its release..(since we would like to see some new backgrounds from the new game)

oh and btw sorry for this but you dont need to put the plays.dbf files anymore since it is just a backup

For me with the new patch, cpu is quite an ok opponent, not so easy to beat anymore.
In fact i have lost many games which with previous versions did not happen..
i'm happy for it

cuz it's more real like this (and more interesting)

but one last thing: the cpu takes it to the rim to often. i'd like to see more passes and open looks for them (and don't loose the driving to the basket because of this, but it is TOOOO EASY!)

Is this happens only to me,i don't know but if aiact is really like this,i can't be happy,pg scores too much and he is so selfish and really,cpu players are going to the rim too often..
