Great to hear. Still, I'd love to hear what you did on the roster. Did you update everything, trades, FA signing, etc? And how many rookies does it have? Both rounds + undrafted rookies? Please tell me all about it. I'm sure all of us would like to know what you did to it because this is the "official roster" for TUP10.

yes i updated the latest trade and FA signings. i did not include undrafted rookies cause KidJustin made that.

Alright, cool. So after you're done tomorrow PM it to KidJustin so that he can include whatever he wish to the roster, and then KidJustin will PM it to me later when he's done. Any updates or changes that needs to be made to the roster will have to be made after I finish adding my work in then. Dont worry about that too much though, if there is anything that needs to be change or update immediately I can stop adding my work in anytime. It's completely flexible, but I cannot stress enough how important it is to make changes to this roster only.

@ Modifly, since ur only going to play around with the player.dbf sigshots column out off all the dbfs (am i correct?), then i can just add the rookies (both rounds and undrafted) and haislip and send it to u...the while ur working on that ill add in the other things (like player contracts, birthtowns, appearance updatesm etc)....
but are u also going to do sigshots for international play? if so ill have to add them in...and ill modify the save file a little so they wont crash during any in-game testing (it wont crash, but the information wont be correct...we still need mshooters' help on this part )

i think add-on brand teams (nike, jordan, reebok) players can be added in later and we can copy the sigshots from thier NBA-self's


btw as far as passing the "official" roster around for now i think it should only be PM'd (modify sort of mentioned it already)...no leaking! haha...i think only dee24, modify, and i will be passing it though...but just in case for the future.. that way we get a complete release to the public

carlquila07, see! I told you the Team will like your work. All you need to do now is complete all the teams and try adding something new. Try looking for cool images of some old courts to replace the ones we have for the 50's - 90's Team. Last year's MOD used Toyota Center's Jumbotron as stadium image which for me is inappropriate. Thanks man!

NBAskel, excellent work on the missing portraits. Hopefully you could help us in completing the portraits for the other International Teams.

KidJustin & dee24, thanks for providing us updates on the upcoming roster. Can't wait to try it out, but no rush. We would rather wait for a complete and crash-free roster than use a rushed and inaccurate one. Thanks for the effort guys!

As for ME I'm still waiting for the woodmark that will be used for the 00's All Star. I already have a couple of templates in mind but I haven't drafted anything yet. Hopefully Bryan C. will be able to send me a copy of the logo as soon as he has some free time.

team phillipines does not fit with the rest of the NBA live setting, like international teams = beijing olympics teams.

frank04 has an add-on thread that includes all of ur request. im guessing it should still be compatible with TUP10.

Yeah you're right better not publish anything.Only keep us informed about the work every now and then.
IMO the roster should be published only just before the beta testing and only to testers and the 4-5 Team members.
Until then only Kidjustin will have it(and modifly,dee24 if want) in order to make updates in signings.

1. dee24 converts RR8 to current [check]

2. i will add the undrafted rookies tonight and then modify can get started. (tonight)

3. while modify is working on sigshots i will add
NT rosters
Brand Teams
00's all-star
update player information (salaries, contact length, years experience, birthtown, etc...basically all the things to make the game 100% acurate)
plus all the other add-on things we created outside of the player.dbf (shoes, jerseys, bicep/shoulder pad, etc)

4. once modify is done. ill add his sigshots to the player.dbf (and copy sigshots to any player he did and was part of a team imported after - ex. brand teams)

5. celebrate

6. wait patiently for TUP10/make any corrections as they come up

I dont get it because all I will be doing is assigning the SIGSHT1 value to all the players I'm patching. I dont understand when you said you will add my sigshots to the players.dbf because I will have added them already by assigning the SIGSHT1 value. I will also assign it to all the first round rookies and then I will create their sigshots later. I'll give the rookies the SIGSHT1 value first (I haven't made their sigshots yet) so that other people can take the roster away and do other things with it. To add my sigshots to the mod, we also need to have the "official aiact.viv". Two files have to be add to the aiact - shottype.act and shotconditions.act in order for my sigshots to be in the mod. So all we're doing now is the players.dbf (which is the easy part) and after we have the "official aiact" I'll add in those two files later and then all the sigshots/animations will be in the mod. The "(and copy sigshots to any player he did and was part of a team imported after - ex. brand teams)" part I understand what you mean, but the way you wrote it is a little confusing.

Nice to hear that the Team is making progress with the MOD. I still believe that we should be multitasking by now rather than wait for a single task to be completed before we move on to the next one. I hope the other members assigned to do new artwork are starting their project already. It would be nice to see some updates little by little.

Let's learn from last year...The MOD was released at the end of the 08-09 NBA Season and Fixes were later released by Playoffs. This time it would be nice if everyone could enjoy the MOD at the Start of the 09-10 Season and Fixes will follow as the Season progress.

u will make changes/additions to the sigshots
i will be making other changes (that i listed before).
then wen ur done with the player.dbf (with sigshots) u were editing
i will add ("import") ur work into the player.dbf i was editing
then we will have the "official" roster (which is rr8 base with dee24 updates then kidjustin import tup features plus modify sigshots)

dee24, can i also send u the roster if undrafted? cuz i dont have stats for them rating machine v2.3 doesnt like me...
