If im able to create that patch i will show you the magic of integrating sounds into NBA live 08

But now i have to order my first steps, because it's not that easy...

I'll keep you up to date

Thanks alot bro,... I watch 3 or 4 nba games in a week. If I notice new songs (plus I know the name of it) I'll let you know.
Good luck...

EDIT: Usher - Yeah (heard it several times in the last games)

in pepsi center (nuggets) they have crispy intrumental..dont know who its by tho

Tue Mar 11, 2008 7:16 am

I guess NBA Live doesn't allow to play certain songs more often in certain arenas right? :|

Tue Mar 11, 2008 7:23 am

hawk_3y3, it's hard to do this stuff. Especially manually and without a simple import/export program.

Tue Mar 11, 2008 7:49 am

If you want to make your patch accurate, you'd want to add those annoying songs that consist of "Every-Buh-dee-Clap-Your-Hands, CLAP CLAP CLAP" etc...

Tue Mar 11, 2008 8:03 am

Hey Hawk can you include the songs from that live 06 patch? If you need any help i am willing to help.

50 Cent- PIMP is often played
The most instrumental sounds I've heard in live series were from the nba live 2004 . Maybe U can extract it from there ;) By the way, I agree with the man that said to release the "Introducing, trial patch" with a few songs (20-30) then the ones whop tries the patch can tell whats wrong or right with it, so you can make the real patch perfect ;) the sounds are boring in the original xditties.... Make it happen! :)

I'd rather have a program like Audy06 then have to do it manually. It's alot easier especially when you can preview what you are replacing instead of having to export it and convert it, then repeat it for the next song. The most important thing is finding when each song is played in the game, so songs can be replaced correctly, that way they don't just play at random. Plus, I don't even play Live 08 for PC anymore.

The Kulibins of Hockey released several programs for NHL audio editing that work with Live's AST files like the ASF import/export tool and ASF player. hawk_3y3, I suggest you find them as it will make it alot easier.

Yea, you must to have 5 programs to do this.

My Russian friend give this tool to me, but i don't have permission to give this tool anybody other.

Then what is the point in this message?

Tue Mar 11, 2008 10:20 am

My point is to confirm that is true.

But, what is the point of your message?

Tue Mar 11, 2008 10:58 am

Yeah, the creator(s) of the program(s) want them to be used only for the RHL mod for EA's NHL hockey series. They want people to ask them for permission to use the programs for any other purpose. That kind of defeats the purpose of releasing tools, but they have made alot of programs and I don't doubt that it has taken alot of time to do so.

I could do it manually without any of their programs. Just SX and a HEX editor. However, like I said before the programs would really help cut down the time and work needed to create this patch.

Anyways, here are some songs that I've heard in the Laker/Clipper games that I have attended and some games I've watched on tv.

-Gary Glitter - Rock and Roll Part 2 -During Timeouts or towards the end of the game when the home team has pretty much sealed the deal.

-Alan Parson's Project - Sirius -Bulls introduction music

-Beastie Boys - Intergalactic

-James Brown - I Got You(I Feel Good)

-Kool and the Gang - Celebration

-Rednex - Cotton Eyed Joe

-The Rolling Stones - Start Me Up

-Todd Rundgren – Bang the Drum All Day

-2 Unlimited - Get Ready for This

-Steam - Na Na Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Him GoodBye

-DJ Casper - Cha Cha Slide ( This is the 'clap, clap, clap ya hands' song)

Is it possible to include the chants they do like in NBA Live 06?

Like when fans chant “M-V-P! M-V-P!” I kinda miss that, don’t know why EA scrapped those things...

I already have the AST Importer, but i will ask permission first from the site ive downloaded it to help you out on your patch bro hawk

Tue Mar 11, 2008 1:12 pm

The chants are there, but they rarely play, if at all.

Tue Mar 11, 2008 1:12 pm

Sorry guys but the program ive downloded is not working on me, i cannot even start the program, sorry bro hawk

Tue Mar 11, 2008 6:59 pm

DJ Casper - Cha Cha Slide ( This is the 'clap, clap, clap ya hands' song)

I heard this one on Orlando Magic Arena...

Tue Mar 11, 2008 7:13 pm

Please post this songs in more general, because if and again if i create this patch music can not be assigned to one arena only.

The other thing is, that i want to create an actual patch, which means that i only want to integrade the newest music. With music i don't mean music played during player introduction, i mean this small snippets played during the game.

Don't expect me to do this one in a hurry, possibly i have to make a patch tool myself

Tue Mar 11, 2008 7:23 pm

guns n' roses - welcome to the jungle

it is not considered by any means as "new music", but i've been hearing it played as a music snippet in nba games for years now... most recently just last week...

good luck with this hawk_3y3... (Y)
