Hey , did anyone notice some problems in the Power Rankings (in Dynasty Mode ) ?
There are some wrong positionings , think it's from OKC to ORL .
ex: OKC Ranks 30th in the league but they're on top of the rankings !
1. OKC (Up Arrow) ( 30 )
OKC still have the Seattle Logo ( Power Rankings )
and the Transition Screen is kinda' irritating .
Some ratings are not quite good .
Nate got 62 on 3's . Turkoglu only 79 ? Hamilton 80 ? Wrong !
Jermaine scores a ton of points ! ( Primacy Needs a fix )
Blazers suck ! ( 30th in my Dynasty )
Nowitzki's second position is Center ( not in real life , Bass is the back-up Center for Mavs . Nowitzki's Position should be : Primary - PF , Secondary - PF )
Dwight's hardiness is just 80 - think it should be at 95 'coz he almost never gets injured .
and that irritating 1 hand jumpshot inside the lane ! the Computer always makes that shot ! While me , using Dwight can't make that shot ! It's hard making shots like hooks and short jumps , it's all Quick Lay-Up/Dunk button to make shots in the lane .
T-Mac has a 91 rating !? and Marbury 77 ? boo ! (lower the ratings of T-Mac and just add some to Wafer/Landry or Scola) Ben Wallace a defensive stopper but he always gives up 20-40 points against good PF's in simulation .
AI got a higher rating than Billups !? ( No Way ) Birdman only has 80 on blocking and 74 defensive awareness . We all know he's a big shot blocker 2nd to Dwight in Shot Blocking . Beasley is 81 , over rated !
and please , fix the default shoes in teamgear.dbf . ATL should have a red and white home default shoe , boston green and white and so on and so on . You know what I mean .

Chris Hunter don't have a CF . He's head is all white !

In the power rankings, the issue is dating back to all rosters (like Andrew's etc..)

It is because the power rankings engine recognizes the original order in which OKC is Seattle back then. That is why in the trade players screen, the draft picks starting from OKC until SA is in the original order before (that is OKC pick is named ORL, ORL pick named PHI) and so on.

and one more thing,, the readme of aiact says,

"Rename old aiact to aiact.old and paste this one in the nba live 08/ai/act folder. You need to use the roster and aiact together at the same time
otherwise sigshots won't show ingame."

should i do this??

You only need the aiact, and I am sure that the sigshots will 100% work with the TUP roster. (if you installed the batchfile that Ive posted earlier.)

Can someone replace EA's default Tattoos ?
(ASH this Question will sound familiar )
If EA's default tattoos can be replaced why not the tattoos ? Right ?
and the gears , especially the headbands . Can someone replace them as well ?

- New Jersey Court Logo on the right (just inside the 3 point line) has blurry mosaic boxes instead of a logo.
- James White (Houston) portrait is small compared to other players.
- A lot of spelling mistakes. I noticed a lot, for example it says DNP -Coach sion when I look at boxscore after each Dynasty games. There were some more but I don't remember everything.

..i will update my courts for those who want wood floor texture rather than nex-gen floor texture...plus i will make some fixes like changing some court colors, update some court and script logos and fixed some logos with wrong position...

the easiest way to create a patch for gears and tattoo is by editing the tattoo of a player of making a tattoo if a player doesn't have any...

i don't know if we can edit the style of the gears, but i downloaded a good headband.fsh from the beijing mod...the headband consists of some logos (nike,reebok,adidas etc.)...so i guess possibly we can edit or modify styles of gears...

you can replace default tattoo by creating an updated tattoo of a player and importing it to the playertat.viv

still hoping someone can help us to edit or modify gears...

but my big point here is editing the tattoo is the easiest way of editng and putting tattoo/gears to a player

yes...for example...you can import the updated kobryan_arm_tat.fsh to playertat.viv
this goes to every players tats

basically this will help you to free some space on your hard disk...

btw, my sgsm has 2.0 GB capacity, im thinking right now if i will just import the files to their respected folders or xxxxx.vivs

a question here for those who are using the mod now:

did u turn reflection "off" for the games?
becoz when i turn it on, the floor of lakers's and magic's court etc are too "shiny"
so i turn it on only for 1on1 / practice mode.

At least I didn't. It works well for me. Suggestion - lower the brightness to 35 or 40.

already finished downloading the full mod....whew!

i will rest for a while...and then i will play it for 2 - 3 hours, and then i will post some bugs (if there is any), and some comments/suggestions or solutions for some bugs/problems...
