ckal, yeah, that's my point too.

kris, can i use ILT animations with your aiact because i tried that once and it worked for me. my only problem is webberf1's kobe gtm is still there. i think my problem is with the players.dbf file. what is kobe's gtm and gtm hotspot (old one with the turnaround thing)?

if it is the aiact of webberf1 then it should have the sig shots cuz basically webberf1 or john is mainly the one who made almost all of the sigshots and gtms..

Kris - I lowered all players FG and 3-point ratings, and raised the respective sliders. The result seems to be a bit better. ;)

ive already done it :D and this is what i did for example

Kobe has a 88 field goal ratings and i changed it to 85 and all other players ratings i have given them some good ratings so that they could perform better. i just need to tweak the sliders more for the User control..

Actually, once I tried lowering all players FG and 3-point ratings to 50-. That way they can hit bankers! :cool:

i dont understand, if i use your aiact my nba live just close game when im plaiyng,it happened every time then i just put default aiact back and it play fine. someone know tell me why it happen?

uhm dude your work is great but one thing:
even if a 3 point shooter is open from the three point line he wont shoot directly the ball from 3 instead go to the perimeter or drive to the basket ..like ray allen and other 3 point shooter.. can you fix that thing?

Hi Kris

This is my first post, I am from Brasil and dont write because I have a very poor english, but you wanna a feedback so I will try.

I am a fan of NBA Live for PC, I think the game is the best of NBA series even in NBA 2K series, because we can edit all parts the game. If EA do not produce NBA 09 for PC, this forum could launch a version better that EA can do.

Your Aiact is tremendous improvement in gameplay, you reched in point near to the reality, a point where EA never reached. I think that exists just a few things (five considerations) that you can improve in another version.

I use your last aiact with fancy dunks and passes.I am not use your roster or any roster from this site, I use my own rosters that is a fantasy league where I mix stars player from 50's to 80's, bad players and created players to compose the teams. I edit the playmaps.dbf and teams.dbf by myself and uses your plays.dbf.

Considerations:

1 - Sometimes the PG/SG passes the ball to C and C returns the ball to PG/SG that have a position clear to try a Shoot from 2 or 3 point line, but they don't try the shoot and passes the ball again to C, and passes more times until C shoots or lose the ball.

2 - Some teams uses a "crazy run an gun". PG passes the ball from your own court to a SG/SF that shots immediatily, or try a pass to another player who shots imediatilly too, the team uses just 2 or 3 seconds from their possession, this move appears in just 4 teams in my league but they use this every time that the opponent make a shoot.

3 - Few times in a team who have a diference over 11 points to the opponent, the player who have the ball and is marking by 2 or 3 players stay with the ball and don't shoot or don't passes the ball to another player, he just wait the 24 seconds expires.

4 - I play with the Block for Dunk and Shoot in 99/90 but i think that are too few blocks in a game

5 - My Cs and PFs never shoots from three point line even if have a 90 from 3pt shoot and hotspots (I don't know if is a problem with my playmaps.dbf and play.dbf files)


I don't know if is possible to correct but there are other two things in all aiacts versions (include EA) that i think they are bad:

1 - When a quarter is near to the end and a team have a ball possession the player passes the ball to anywhere and it across the court to the backline. This move works for a extra shoot for the team who make the last shoot.

2 - The clutch time is the most unreal that i see, the players have no idea who will take the shoot, we have ratings for clutch time for 2 pt and 3 pt shoot, we have the go to moves, hot spots and Free Styles but nothing is take in consideration, sometimes the play ends in a shoot from 3 pt line of a player who have rating zero in 3 point shoot.

that comments are what id like to see the more the merrier,, back to your question some of the problems that youve posted are now being fixed but some hmmm i think really needs more time to fix cuz its to darn hard to fix..and about the plays.dbf guide maybe i can make one but im also poor in english i can speak english but not that fluent..

Kris, have you increased the 3pt shots in your new aiact?
In current aiact (very good), the 3pt shots of cpu are few....

Kris one more thing ive been meaning for you to look at. The CPU tries to take WAY too many charges, and too many reach in fouls.

The charge attempts are ok on the transition defense, or when im driving to the paint. But there is a big problem.

If I back down my cpu defender, and then come off, then back down a second time, the defender falls to the ground and is called for a foul. It ALWAYS happens so I have to avoid doing a second back down because the CPU gets in bad foul trouble and doesnt sub well as I have told you before.

They sub fine for stamina, but dont sub for fouls. Also, the reach in fouls are a bit much. I got cpu ray allen to 3 fouls in first qtr. You wanna know how? All I did was was stand still for maybe 4 to 5 seconds each time trying to set a play. Whenever I stand for a little bit to set a play the cpu tries to reach in, and I have my back to them so its always a foul. And even once they are in the limit they still foul and set me to the charity stripe.

Can you look into these issues?
