i did install the mod with fresh sgsm folder
but somehow it crashes. sometimes be4 signature replays, sometimes during intro be4 the game
and always after the first quarter

And maybe other scoreboard's version with team logos could be released later as well but that's not that important.

the crash is fixed now, everything's alright
but still the dunk animation looks weird
and actually the TNT logo pop up for too long

hey guys...amazing work, i love you, but i have to say:

1. i do not have EA HD logo, intro video and Lebron startup
2. i think there's some work to do on the aiact...
3. Ilgauskas looks like 70 years old xD
4. Missed some animations, like Szcerbiak shoot...

1) Open the rar file, then open the NLSC folder
2)Place all files into your save folder ( C:\Documents and Settings\username\My Documents\NBA LIVE 08\saves\NBALIVE09 )
3)Click sigsgtmbatchfile.bat

Now i've already cycled through the comments and messages.
So we'll go through several points here.
First of all we warmly share to you the success of the MOD. After months of hard work and frustrations, even how many times we're on the verge of giving up. Still, WE made this happen! How I wish that we're just nearby each other so we could celebrate the fruit of our hard works, certainly with the guidance of the Lord. I want to have some shot with you guys!

Now, as usual, IGNORE THE EFFIN ANGRY23 R*****!!! who said this MOD is better than 2k9??? Even for me 2K9 is the best NBA game in PC!!! But we never claimed that this MOD was better! Its all about passion and dedication dog! Get lost!

For all those who experience crashes, before you post, see to it that others experience that too! Because most of your reports are due to your own faults, we said that you should have a fresh, clean installed NBA LIVE 08 before installing the MOD. Thats why Startup bug or glove bug occurs.
Now I still dont have the time to download what George has uploaded, I havent checked yet if the files he included are correct. We're not concerned with those so old bugs (like glove bugs etc), and PLEASE! DON'T REPORT TO US HAVING A BUG OR CRASH ISSUE DUE TO YOUR PIRATED COPIES! Game crash after each quarter due to illegal copies of NBA LIVE 08.

The only thing we're concerned about is the Roster, AIact, sigshots, anims etc. Patchers always have the problems with those, yeah we admit that its not polished to their best, but we assure we give you good enough, so it has some things that you personally dont want. Some other things are old EA bugs.
We'll still look forward on releasing new updates and fixes.

New updates maybe posted in their own thread by the patchers, but fixes certainly will be posted here.

I really want to thank you all personally, for the support, for waiting, and for believing in this MOD. I admit that through all these past few months, its kinda big burden to me, updating files, and also to other patchers, completing this MOD certainly eats a lot of my time and effort, surely same as to others, as we all share great patches here. I really enjoyed working with others and its also my first time to work on a MOD. At first I'm really worried if we could make this. Its really a great experience, whatever you might say, I'm really emotional about releasing the MOD, cause I will miss all the no-sleep days just to complete the updates. That's why I know Kidjustin, Haaaaanis and others gone through those ways too. Its really like my virtual home, community or family. Thanks to Sir Andrew for keeping this amazing community alive.

I also admit that after these, not only me but others also, might rest first and continue with other things, or still back patching. For me, maybe I'll just have some little rest, restoring my social life (I spend more than half of my time from October till late March in front of my PC, sometimes I eat in front of it ). I'll also focus more on my studies, but I will surely still makin' some patch during my free time (in both NBA LIVE or 2K). You guys may not see me here more often unlike before, but still we'll browse through these boards from time to time.

Ok, let me say this: the MOD is awesome! The art done is a thing of beauty, and it changed the game to a unique form.

But, I found some bugs. I'll start with the most annoying/important bugs:

- I cannot change the away shoe. When I try, the away shoe is the home shoe, and it can't be changed.
- The NBA/TNT transition logo that appear throughout the game is too long. Should disappear faster.
- There's a Yao Mings loading screen from Live 08
- Players have NBA socks, instead of having white socks (home) and black socks (away)
- The game crashed when I played 1x1 with Barkley (90's team) versus Jordan (Dream Team)

Minor bugs:

- When selecting the team to play, on the "Play Now" mode, I think it needs a fix, because some names are Charlotte, Cleveland, Utah, New Jersey or whatever city, and others are Celtics, Bulls, Timberwolves, Bucks and so on. I think it should be either the name of the city where the team is, or the name of the team itself.
- Practice court is not as it should be. At least I think:

Plus, some players have gears that should be edited, like Paul Pierce's calves protections or Lebron's arm sleeve, or D-Wade head and neck don't match the color of the body very well. In fact, players have many gears that are no longer worn. The file, like papierce_leg_tat, should not have the sleeves, or bands or whatever, but we should be able to choose what to put on the players. I think the file (papierce_arm_tat and leg_tat, and to all players) should be clean, with no gears or just some. I almost forgot... Billups can dunk on the game

And what about the sound of the ball hitting the rim, and when the player dunk? It makes a weird loud sound.


As I mentioned a few posts before, I don't wanna be the guy that comes here and start complaining about all the things. Like you guys said, you don't work on EA GAMES (well, maybe they should interview you for a job ).
But I come here to try to make the game better, and to make this patch/MOD better.

It'll never be 100% perfect because nothing is, but I think we should all try to make it as close to real life and as accurate as possible.

If I offended someone, or some patcher, please forgive me. I did not intend to. I'm only here trying to help.

Can somebody help me, my transition nba logo that appears during the game says nba live 07.
Also, when I play with iran, you cant see the faces, just swirls of black and other colors, it almost looks like a glitch.



On a good note, I love the fact that keyboard users can nwo personalize their dunk modifiers and so forth for dunk competitions and so forth(I dont think we could do that before)
Also, I thought that whoever created the magic johnson sig did a great job, or was thta with the original game!
Anyway great job guys!

Wow, this is great got it working and everything but got a crash from team US jersey. I think it just because of the amount of stuff in sgsm folder. DOn't worry about it, to guys who contributed to this project. After many months of hard work it is paying off!

iNaw, I guess I now the answer for this. When you're going to start a dynasty, select ''NO'' to the draft of 2007, I guess.

Thanks ! But the effect ingame is still the same, at least on my PC (I've got a very good graphic card), is it the same for others ?

For my startup screen, Anyone knows why it doesn't work ?? If the select Language has an importance ?? Because I choose French cuz i'm french of course, so I want to know If anyone can help me please ??

I noticed too that Nate Robinson doesn't have the same face color than his body, and one of the 2008 - 2009 raptor's jersey doesn't appear in the selection of the jersey, but it functions in game
