Sorr for double post but the thread has problem so have to do it

Ok guys because there are now lots of people having some crashes ill stop making SGPF now but instead ill go back again to editing the aiact...

Ill also include some important files so that the game would not crash anymore..

only 3 reasons for game crashing.

#1 they have left over files from previous versions. such as tuning files etc...

#2 they dont have the animation files

#3 maybe they cant follow the readme that is crystal clear

solution reinstall your nba and try the sgpf

hopefully you will find a way to fix the fade away shots specially kobe's. good luck bro

1. i install SGSF on clean copy of NBA 08 (i reinstall the game several of times).

2. maybe...i don't know what is that...

3. maybe my English is suck when i writing but i know very good how to read and fallow the readme file, however as well i know where all files are locate without Kris readme.

Well duh, if you did read the readme file in the SGPF of Kris then you should know the animation files. It is the one to have an sig shot of the player, maybe some people should read before they post something and complain about the perfect SGPF.

Maybe some of the people here doesn't have the ILT first that's why they are having the problem on the SGPF.

bro can i ask what simengin file,simeng.txt file,tuning files are you using..'coz your game looks so realistic..i know your using webber's roster..but is there a chance that i can achieve those realistic stats using albys roster v5.btw i'm using the orig simeng.txt,yesky's recent simeng file and the tuning files included in RRv5.hope you can help me..omt,can i achieve realistic stats using 7mins per quarter?how can i adjust my game so i can get realistic stats?thanks

Regarding the bug in results in simulated games, I guess and I believe that the wrong number of assists for superstars (e.g. Boozer and Duncan having the highets no. of assists) is the fixes on ratings for the players in SGPF roster..When I tried Webber's Roster, it produced realistic stats but crashes after timeouts.

heh, simulation isn't very good, in my dynasty with your fix, bosh, oneal, michael doleac hits about 4 3pts in game!!!

ok, for those who want to use webberf1's rosters with SGPF follow this.

1. Install ILT project patch.
2. Install IRPT roster with sgsm of rookies by jimmy
3. Install shoe patch for chnxiaoju (1x or 2x)
4. Install Webberf1's 1.31 final patch (both sets as instructed in his thread)
5. Install Kris' SGPF 1.0 aiact (well, that's what i did to get those stats)

* to improve SIM stats
6. Install Yeskys 2.10 simengin
7. Use ORIGINAL EA simengin.txt file

8. Use good slider settings.
9. Play the game.

* There is a batch file included in SGPF for other rosters to match all needed files to avoid crashes so utilize this.

* all files can be found in the forum so just check it out,

- bro, sori really don't know the adjustments made in RRv5. I think RRv5's player ratings are higher than webberf1's 1.31 roster. If this was the case, surely, gameplay and simulation results would differ.
- still trying slider settings for 7 min for my set-up and will show the results later.

bro, tried the same slider settings and it showed good results in all the games i've tried. (7 games)

you can use the same sliders for 7 min per quarter games. you just have to adjust fatigue effect in in-game settings option to HIGH so that player substitution / rotation would still be active for both user and cpu teams.

although end game scores averaged in 70 and 80 mark, i could still say that it still in the realistic side of the game.

Im kinda confused coz IRPT and WebberF1's are same rosters so which of these will we overwrite?
When it come to SGPF. are we gonna use the aiact.viv only not the database files?
lastly, can we use the webberF1's roster edited by sir kris posted on the prev page?Or we need to use the 1.31Final version of webberF1?

bro, just follow the INSTALL SEQUENCE of patches as mentioned in the post then you'll be ok.

you need to install everything included in the patches mentioned. There are detailed instructions on what you need to do w/c is included in these patches.

To clear things up, here is the sequence: ILT - IRPT (rookie cyberfaces) - Webberf1's patch - SGPF aiact ONLY (so you would be overwriting a few files common to these patches. )

For webber's roster edited by master kris, actually haven't tested it bro so i have no clue as to what the results would be. sori. As i've said, the roster i used was webberf1's original 1.31 roster to get those results i posted before.

Kris i suggest you to put all necessary files in your new Gameplay. like better sim engine, and the anim files, it will be so good..so we doesn't need to start looking this all files in whole forum, by the way, i have clean copy of NBA Live 08 and i waiting for your new game play (4.O) so when you release it please make a readme how install it with no crash and max realistic game play.

Kris, I tried raising the User Long Range Shot to 100, and lowering Steve Nash's 3-point to 47 (his season's % [I think]). I put him in training mode and he is still doing fine at 3 pointers. Some misses maybe very bad, but he is still raining 3s.

Maybe you could do that to all players (I know it would be very hard work ), by decreasing their FG and 3PT ability to their season %, then raising the game sliders to 100, it may give better shot %s, I don't know...
