Great, but how much will be the teams in this patch? We all know that the NCAA is a huge "institution ".... I think it is impossible to make a patch for any nba live, which would contain all the teams ...

I'm planning to include 67 schools, but that number is subject to change (the teams themselves, however, are not). plus cf's for all McDonalds All-Americans(easy)... plus courts for all these teams(seems hard but very easy) with jerseys(HARD!!)

Glad to see you guys are still working on this, hope all goes well. Sorry I can't offer more help at this time but as I said before, I can offer hosting for you when it's done.

One suggestion you might consider in regards to the faces: since I started including faces in the NLSC updates and completely abandoning the use of CAP appearances, I've utilised the faces the game uses for generated rookies as placeholder faces when I don't have a proper update available. Basically, I find a face file that looks similar to the player in question (skin tone, hair style/colour, facial hair) and use that until such time as I'm provided with a real face update for said player. It's not a perfect solution but it's preferable to a no texture error (or delaying the update because a new D-League call-up doesn't have a proper face yet ).

In your case you obviously need a lot more faces since you're creating the NCAA from scratch whereas the game obviously contains active NBA players by default, but it might be suitable for initial releases when you're short on face updates. Just a thought in case a lack of cyberfaces is holding you back.

I think that's been the problem with past attempts at NCAA projects. There's just so much work that needs to go into it that it becomes too time consuming and ultimately falls by the wayside.

Looking at what JaoSming, Baseball110 and co did with the NCAA 2K11 mod for NBA 2K11, there were a couple of beta releases, a stable release and now subsequent updates by Baseball110. Unless I'm mistaken, at times there were some placeholder art files during the beta stages which were replaced as the proper art updates became available. I'd recommend that as an option here, placeholder faces and maybe some generic courts (even jerseys) for a beta or v1.0 release, if you're pressed for time. It's up to you of course and I'm sure most people will be appreciative of the efforts no matter what, but it might help things along.
