Albys Realistic Roster Thread: RR8 released!

is there a fix for the crash?? The game crashes when i try to go play a game on some of the courts. i really want to utilize the patch but it keeps crashing. Using Fshx is giving me a runtime error... I am using vista business, installed the direct8 and even set compatibility mode to xp. I have looked at online guides but i have not found an answer to how to use the program. If there is a court patch that can fix this problem, a lot of live 08'ers will love to be able to use this patch.

gabb_5, Be more specific... when exactly does it crash? Does it crash when you're playing or when the transition happen? More details will help ease your problem..

try to use 1x sweat patch and jesery...

could you give me some good examples of 1xsweat and jersey patches :cool:

I encounter that game crash, I did was reinstall NBA live08 lol no problem now
Use 1 or 2 game patch too game many patch cause game crash that's my only opinion.

you encounter that game crash because there's a conflict files on your sgsm folder, did u get what I mean?

every damn time i try to start a game, right as the loading bar is done, it says "NBA Live 08 has stopped working" and i have to close. i've tried reducing the res of tats, have put in the 1x sweat patch that niki0327 helped me out with, reduced the res of the courts, put in 1x jerseys. wtf lol

HAVE YOU EVER MODIFY THE ROSTER FILE?
SUCH AS APPEARANCE.DBF?
i suggst not to edit this file otherwise it may cause crashes.

Bro Albys I noticed that Kris's fastbreak fix isn't included in the roster and I can find it nowhere to download so could you please fix that?

put your roster file to my doc/nba live 08/saves
and copy the database to the correct file
then go to the game and load the roster
it should be work
maybe you try it one more time...

there are many reason to cause crashes when the transition appears
for example,wrong database
make sure you put the database to correct file
try to use 1x jesery and sweat patch to avoid crashing.
i also suggest you using the normal aiact and animation if you face crashes problem.

it only crashes in dynasty, but in exibition it doesnt crash

I'm using Vista + 08-09 roster, installation of gameplay patch causes game crash when i try to play 5 on 5. 1x jesery and sweat patch is installed.

P.S. I use this patch on PC with XP it works perfectly, but this PC is so slow... :-(
