Has anyone tried this:
Add up the # of minutes played by each player in the Box Score.
Does it equal to 240 minutes.
Thats assuming you have 12 minute quarters.

AI got 7 blocks...
Is it an issue of this patch or it's just game's bug?
Anyone else saw something like that?
It's not the only example. In this Dynasty Stephon Marbury has 2.7 blocks per game...
And only 3 of the substitutes played.
Anyway, patch is very good, but needs to solve things like this...

PG/SG still have lots blocks, but it should not be up to 2.00....I think the top 10 most come from c/pf/sf position. I can't do more for this except I find the key code for blocks..
New problems come out, just like shyn3 said, the total play mins is not equal to 240mins. I do not know how this happen , but I will try to figure this out..

But I have few remarks:
1. Teams averages too many blocks per game through the season. I've simulated several seasons and teams averages from 6 to 12 BPG. In real life those stats are from 3 to 7 BPG.
2. Same thing with steals per game. In my seasons it's 9-12 SPG, and in NBA it's 5-9 SPG.
But if you look at the players, leading in BPG and SPG, their stats are good. The problem is: the players with low block and steal rating are averages too much in those categories.
3. The assist distribution between players is too strange. It's not depend on assist rating, as I see. Many centers averages 3 APG, while one of the starting guards in team is averages 0.5-1 APG.
So, if you know how to fix these problems, it'll be great.

I just tried using the original simengin.bin and the players only played 220 minutes, and 222 minutes, anyone else wan't to try that and see what happens, it seems like the bug isnt the edit edit by yesky1983, but its EA's default setting.
Simulate on 12min quarters, and calculate total minutes played. Should = 240 minutes total per team. (excluding overtime)

Can't argue about some minur issues but this is the closest that we can get unless Yesky will figure out how to edi the remaining bugs.

This is such a great patch, I'm really impressed.
Could you please balance a 6 min version of this patch? I'm playing a 6 min dynasty so this 12 min version doesn't really work for me.

Having some problems with this current sim engine. But really a minor one, its only about Chris Bosh. Im already a month into my dynasty and when i checked the stats, he's averaging a triple double, 20-11-10. Can anybody please help me with this?

Nothing you can do about it. Unless you know how to hex the simengine.

im trying to download the sim engine fix file and each tiem i do it, i get a message first that tells you to choose one of 2 options: Open with... and Save to disk. after that, i download it. and after it is finish downloading, i click open and my nba live 08 will come up and just close. there aer no palce to extract it or something liek that. is it just me or does that happen to everyone else too?

I think he already given up in fixing this engine.
All we can do now is hope that EA would release a fix-patch. But that's a longshot I know.

umm in dynasty it still avg ppg is like 50. and y does dwight howard have like 11 assists, 9 rebounds, and 14 points. isnt it suppose to be like 15 rpg, 1 apg, and like 22 ppg?

use the new updated nlcs roster and it will fix it. and use kris aiact 4.0 that will improve tha gameplay

i am currently using the latest version of yeskey1983´s patch and it is good but it´s not perfect especially in terms of assits and rebound´s where i have the feeling the numbers aren´t really calculated refering to rating´s of players (i tunded Curry down to 40 ORB and 50 DRB and he still grabs 9.8 RPG on dyasty while dwight with both rated 99 grabs 10.3 RPG per game

and this is just one example )
question is if this is a thing that you could possibly change this or if there is another way of getting better numbers in these categories because it is just awful to see that you can´t really do something about the numbers with changes in the ratings!!
