Can anyone help me please? Anyone know where the ESPN scoreboard's location is in the files to be downloaded? I've downloaded almost every file and I still can't locate where the scoreboard is so it doesn't show up. Either I missed out on some part or I'm just getting dizzy.

Not to be a noob, but is this a standalone mod or does it require NBA Live 08 because i cannot find loadbar.fsh in the download.

It requires NBA Live 08. Redistributing NBA Live 08 itself is against our rules.

Roster update please
The roster crashes after saving a dynasty mode then by loading it again.

guys i just want to share this

how to play 2013-14 roster in correct dynasty season for nba live 08 with no error:

1st step:
create new a dynasty in dynasty mode (or if you already have a save dynasty just make sure you back it up) -- simulate and save it up to the start of the first day of the regular season of 2013-14... name it "dynasty13-14" (this will be your main save dynasty)

2nd step:
Go to the folder C:\Program Files\EA SPORTS\NBA LIVE 08\database
Back-up your "Origdb" folder by copy/pasting it in the same location (should see two folders now, "Origdb" and "Copy Origdb")

3rd step:
Go to the folder: \My Documents\NBA LIVE 08\database
Select and delete all files in both the "Current" and "Working" folders (Note: do NOT delete the folders themselves; just clear them out)

4th step:
go back to your save "dynasty13-14" file folder and copy the 3 schedule.dbf files (scheduleoffseason.dbf, scheduleplayoffs.dbf, scheduleseason.dbf)
Then
"Paste" them into the folder:
C:\Program Files\EA SPORTS\NBA LIVE 08\database\Origdb
And
\My Documents\NBA LIVE 08\database\originaldb
Confirm "Yes to All" when asked

5th step:
run the game and create a new dynasty again using the same team but this time use your 2013-14 updated roster.... (just off the draft and make sure to pick some good coaching staff)
Get to the first day of the season. It will read, "2007" but notice there are no games in the months on "Schedule"
Save the game as, "dummy13-14"
exit the game

6th step:
go to folder \My Documents\NBA LIVE 08\saves
back up both "dynasty13-14" and "dummy13-14" folder in case something went wrong

go to your saves folder "dummy13-14" and copy the .dbf files (appearance, birthstate, birthtown, coaches, location, names, nicknames, players, shoesacc, staff, teamgear, teams)
and paste it to your saves folder "dynasty13-14" Confirm "Yes to All" when asked

final step:
using hex editor open both files:
\My Documents\NBA LIVE 08\saves\dummy13-14\franchise.dat
And
\My Documents\NBA LIVE 08\saves\dynasty13-14\franchise.dat

copy the selected info from dummy13-14\franchise.dat
then
paste it to the selected info of dynasty13-14\franchise.dat then save and exit

start the game then load "dynasty13-14" enjoy dynasty!!!!

Hey Looyh!.. Can you update the running animations and also the courts cause some of the courts like miami's and denver's have dark floors not like the real courts that has bright floors. Btw. MORE POWER FOR THIS GREAT MOD!!!

maybe i'm a dumb, but how i can set a 1920x1080 resolution? the tool doesn't work because 800x600 res was just changed in 1440x900 in the exe! I can use the originale exe of the game?
Or, in alternative, how can i play a lower resolution without black borders (i don't know how to do via AMD CCC)?

Game Crashes:
1. In season mod trying to play as Charlotte Bobcats. (have to sim all Bobcat games to continue season)
2. In season mod playing Rookie Game.
3. Unable to play 3-Point Shootout or Slam Dunk Contest.
4. Incorrect All-Star Coaches; Teams with best records coaches were not selected.

Cyberfaces:

1. Players (mostly non-starters) missing CF's: Portland, Philly, New York, Minnesota, Toronto, Orlando.

I'm not a part of the team for this mod, however, I can offer some suggestions.

Game Crashes:

1. I'm not entirely sure, though, it could be something to do with the roster itself. Maybe checking the .dbf files and looking for some bad lines (a boring task) would help. I personally have no problem with any teams, though, I'm using my own custom rosters (in my signature).
2. Just season mode? Or even in play now/all-star weekend? Could be an issue with the jerseys, are they extracted to the unihalf folder also?
3. This could most definitely be the animatinos (ai and anim folders, inside are an aiact.viv and other stuff). What animations are you using (Original, Tiger's, BAYAG's Superstar aiact etc)?
4. This may very well be a game limitation, I don't think there's a way for the game to automatically select coaches. Only user created material can keep it updated in that regard.

1. Yeah, I'm certain they'll look into those and fix e'm when they can.

I need some help downloading this mod. I played NBA LIVE 08 5 years ago then my disc got messed up and I had to trash it. That was back when I didn't know anything about modding. Now I mod NBA 2K and I plan on buying NBA LIVE 08 again because of this awesome mod! 2K files and EA files are totally different so I need help installing the mod. I have 2 questions.

1. What is the point of the NBA LIVE 14.exe file? I clicked on it and it says "NBA LIVE 14 has stopped working". Is this because I don't have NBA LIVE 08 on my PC yet?
2. Where do I paste all the other files? This is nothing like NBA 2K files.
