enough said guys.. let him be.. err.. i know you guys have a point but please dnt be too harsh, we don't need to say inappropriate words.. so much for that.. as much as we want to be left creating patches, lets just leave this rowdy playing his 2k9... lets just continue working on this MOD..

anyway.. more player gears needed.. but i have this one question...
i'm always converting the armtats and armtextures to 1x (256x256) so i could play crash free.. (yeah it also affects the crash issues) but, when i do that, i cannot seem to use the arm gear editing on edit player gear updates.. the gears doesnt appear.. except when i use 2x armtextures...

whoa, V2 is a significant improvement. Shadows and sweat balance is perfect imo. I like lighting thats more dark rather than shiny glowing sorta feel. I would use this lighting when you release it

what resolution is this on? and can it work as this on 1480 res?

crazycelticsfan, resolution doesn't affect lighting files. However I'd like to ask, what resolution are the loading screens at, cause at 1280x1024 your previous loading screens are low res.

bro actually its really awesome but why player itself has quadruple shadows?is there anyway to fix that bro?player must have 1 shadow alone..hehehe
but generally it really good only the shadow needed to be fix..i know they're different files..i salute you awesome! seem like live 05....

I totally agree with vhan, it is not necessary to persuade and convince other people to quit Live 08 and switch to 2k9. If you ask me, most of us is getting 2k9 anyway but we are still patching Live 08 because we love to. All of you, and I mean all, have been playing Live for at least a year. You cant just say that Live sucks and then switch to 2k9, it's wrong. Live was what kept you in this forum since January. If you wasn't playing Live, then you wouldn't be here in the first place. Admit it, you have had some fun playing Live over the past year. At least on the patching front. You are actually disgracing yourself since you used to patch Live 08 and you actually did something similar to this thread.

If you like 2k9 more than Live, which is likely for a lot of people, then play 2k9. Nobody can and will stop you from doing so. What you shouldn't do is turn your back on Live and tell us to quit. We have passion for patching and we wont simply quit like you did. We aint no quitter. If you want to play 2k9 then go but dont take other people with you. If we want to switch to 2k9 then we would have had done so already. Now that we're still here, it means that we still want to patch Live 08 and the only damn reason is because we love to. When you said that vhan's lighting was terrible and that 2k9 is way better than Live, you have lost all your dignity and pride as a patcher. You no longer have the right to be in this thread. Get your ass moving. If you think about it, you said that under the NBA Live Series Center. How disrespectful of you, to the site and to every patchers who are still here. My patience had reached its limit. Go away non-believers, we will make this patch happen and we can do it without your garbage comments.

just a mod for 08 to be updated to 09.. not the whole system but just a total overhaul..

anyway.. just saw the news this morning..
shocking changes in NBA as of now...
ALLEN IVERSON now traded to Detroit Pistons for BILLUPS, MCDYESS and SAMB...
hope someone can update the roster, and i guess that wasnt a big problem...
and MELO have now new looks..
also updated cfs of other players are needed..
