This is a big mod for NBA live 08. It replaces most parts of the xditties.ast to create a more realistic and up to date ingame atmosphere. We do our best to make you think you are watching a real NBA game.
What this mod will do:
Replaces frequently played ingame music with actual music.
Replaces all timeout music with music that's used in NBA!
Replaces all player introduction music (play now, season games, playoff, allstar)
Replaces all concluding music.
Will bring in the adams famaly theme.
The patch itself is very big, because it's easier releasing a packed xditties.ast. Our edited file has a file size of 388 MB (222 MB before, so you see how much has been changed). To service you with fastest download possible we packed these 2 files with 7-zip. 7-zip is the most effective packing software. We didn't come up with a SFX archive so you have to use the workaround following. With 7-zip we could reduce filesize by about 80 MB. To make sharing easier we splitted the file into 4 parts. 2 parts of them will be hosted on my fast webspace for a fast time, the other 2 will be on free hosters. (part 3 will be replaced by mediafire, to save capacity)

Before you do anything go to NBA live 08\audio\aems directory and backup xditties.ast and xditties.abk.
Then do the following:
1.) Download Mirror (Mediafire) Mirror (yy.lv)
2.) On unpack progress choose directory where files are downloaded in (rap08.7z.001, rap08.7z.002, rap08.7z.003, rap08.7z.004)
3.) Go to this directory.
4.) Run batch.bat
5.) Copy the 2 extracted files to NBA live 08\audio\aems
Some guys even had problems with this. Then try this:

xditties.ast > xditties.ast.bak
xditties.abk > xditties.abk.bak
Find and download HJSplit and WINRAR off the internet. Install/Run HJSplit and select JOIN. Find the rap08.7z.001 file and select it. Once you start it, it will join the 4 001/002/003/004 files in the same directory and notify you when it is done. Install/Run WINRAR. Browse to the folder where the rap08.7z file is and open it with WINRAR. There should be two xditties files, one with an ABK and one with an AST extension. Extract them to your NBA Live 08\audio\aems directory.
