Slamdunk 09 Mod (v1.0 Released)

Slamdunk 09 is base on a popular basketball anime.

What to expect from this mod:
- fully playable game mode (exhibition, season, dynasty, 3pts shootout, dunk contest). Fiba mode not functional as it is not needed in this mod.
- new court with better lighting and some addon.
- 30 teams (some teams are fictional just to complete the 30 team requirement for dynasty)
- newly made jerseys for all 30 teams + 1 allstar jersey.
- Shohoku uses 4x jersey (1024x1024 instead of 256x256 size). Thanks to mysteriousunknown for the 4x pattern. Don't use 2x armband as it will crash the game.
- New Roster
- Generated Rookie only uses light skin players with Portraits. Their names are also japanese names when generated.
- Teamplay adjustment (Need comment on this. Did the Team Ace Player score well during actual game? What team needs improvement?)

Installation Guide:
1) Install a fresh NBALIVE 08.
2) install the MOVIE FILES to your Program Files\EA SPORTS\NBA LIVE 08\movies
3) Extract the real shoe patch to your Program Files\EA SPORTS\NBA LIVE 08\sgsm folder. NO NEED TO RUN THE BAT FILES.
4) Install this SLAMDUNK 09 Mod by Hamzie.
5) Run the game and then exit.
6) Extract the SD ROSTER 09 to your My Documents/NBA LIVE 08
7) Run the game then load the roster Slamdunk09. Adjust your settings, display, etc and play the game

ENJOY.

I already asked the origal maker of SD Mod kenkaian for the CF but i beleive he is inactive already. If he ask for the CFs be removed from the installer, then i will delete it from the mod.

How'd you do that?

In your database/originaldb, look for rookies.dbf. Just edit all the skin you want to change and assign a proper CF and portrait.


Thanks to all who tried the mod. After playin a few Dynasty games, i have some minor fixes. I already updated the roster file at my first post.

Roster Fixes
- Taitian Y. ID 135 - changed skin from 1 to 0
- Yuqi J. ID 102 - changed skin from 1 to 0
- Zhongshan D. ID 72 - changed height from 86 to 76 (lol sf height was 7'2, so just change it to 76 in = 6'3)
- Kiyota N. ID 15 - changed height from 76 to 73
- East West height fix

NOTE: All height of C was intentionally adjusted to have +4 inches and PF and SF have a +3 inches from their original height. They were adjusted for Dynasty mode so they wont look small compared to upcoming generated rookies.

Help! sir Hamzie i'm having a problem, every time i play shohoku in 5on5 with their regular jerseys it crashes... right now i can only play them using the practice jerseys...

Hope u can help me with this so that i can enjoy it more...

BTW, this mod is amazing!

oh and another thing, all players from shohoku are playable in practice mode even with their regular jerseys... hope you can tell me how to fix me or point me to the right direction... thanks again for this incredible mod...

Are there any other addon in your nbalive like 2x armband? Is your nbalive a fresh install?

Ok the crashes could be the 4x jersey. Try to remove the following files in your sgsm folder
- shohawayblet.fsh
- shohawaynbk4.fsh
- shohawaynbk7.fsh
- shohawaynbk10.fsh
- shohawaynbk11.fsh
- shohawaynbk14.fsh
- shohhomeblet.fsh
- shohhomenbk4.fsh

I think it's becuase you have the draft turned on....make sure to turn the rookie draft off....I'm also not sure if you can use fantasty draft either....
