how to delete players, jerseys, etc. ?

Here's the thing; I edited the existing Kings Away jersey, made it black, added an entry to teamgear.dbf...I start the game to test it out and it says "Locked" even though I specified it wasn't (any idea how this could have happened, btw?). So since I don't know what to do about it, I made another entry. That new entry worked (yay) so I delete the bad entry from teamgear.dbf - from my save file, to the workingdb, currentdb, originaldb yadayada. I start the game again and the "Locked" jersey is still there (boo).


Same thing with a player. I deleted this one dude (who shall remain nameless; well, let's call him Mr. Player) from the player list in players.dbf, but when I start the game Mr. Player is still there.


So will whoever/whatever I add to the game be permanently there, or do I need to do something else to remove them?

i got a same problem with you!!
and guess what? i re-install the game, and it becomes normally...

If you want to remove a player from the active rosters, change his TEAM to 32. Deleting rows in the database doesn't work, no matter what data you're trying to remove.
