I decided to start an association with a team that not many people write stories about, as you can see I chose the Minnesota Timberwolves. I will try my best to make this squad into a serious contender, and try to bring a Championship to Minnesota. So without further ado, let us begin!!

You can use paint or photoshop to resize it, then upload it to photobucket to use. At least that's what I do. More experienced writers such as Sit, Hova,Thierry, Martti, Mark, etc. might give you more tips.

I found that the easiest thing to do for roster breakdown pictures is to post the images from player profiles on Yahoo! Sports.

http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/teams/min/roster

There's the link for the Minnesota rosters and all their profiles.

SEASON OPENER

Kings destroy T-Wolves

Image

Kings(1-1)-148 v. T-Wolves(0-1)-117

In the season opener the Minnesota Timberwolves were demolished by the Sacremento Kings by a difference of 31 points. The major reason for the big loss, was the Timberwolves terrible defence. Tyreke Evans scored a game high 37 points, but the big star of the night was Kings starting point guard Isaiah Thomas who scored 28 points and dropped 18 dimes, while shooting 9-11 and having 0 turnovers. The T-Wolf who came to play was Kevin Love who dropped 33 points and grabbed 14 rebounds. The T-Wolves will need to start playing tougher on the defensive end to compete this year.

GAME 2

Raptors explode past the T-Wolves

Image

MIN(0-2)-108 @ TOR(2-1)-147

The Timberwolves lose by a huge deficit for the second time in a row. The Raptors had three players who scored over 20 points (Derozan, Gay, Bargnani). Demar Derozan was the player of the game after dropping 38 points and shooting 18-26 from the field, but the other star of the game was Kyle Lowry who dished out 24 assist and dropped 15 points. Kevin Love lead the T-Wolves in scoring with 26, while Ricky Rubio dropped 14 dimes and scored 19 points. The area where the T-Wolves struggle is at the wing. Their starting 2-guard Alexey Shved only scored 5 points in 32 mins, while Andrei Kirilenko scored 14 in 35 mins. Rumors are swirling that the T-Wolves might try to upgrade either position.

GAME 3
Johnson, Nets make easy work of Timberwolves in victory
Min(0-3)-125 @ Bkn(3-0)-161

The T-Wolves are on a losing streak; not only a losing streak but a streak in which they lose by 20+ points. Joe Johnson and Deron Williams manhandled the T-Wolves on their way to a 36 point win, in Brooklyn. Joe Johnson almost had a double-double with 33 points and 9 boards, while D-Will had a double-double with 26 points and 15 assist. The T-Wolves had one thing to take away from this game, as new acquirement Austin Rivers led the team in scoring with 25 points. This could be a sign of good things to come. Ricky Rubio had another big assist night, dropping 15 dimes, he also scored 10 points.
