Admit it, you love my hate
Mark. wrote:Hmmm, as much as I like Harden and he would fit with your team. I think Smith/Smith or Green/Smith may be the way to go. That being said you have some nice rookies coming through as well. So I dunno. Tough.

Chris Paul Joins James Harden In Houston

The Houston Rockets pulled off a major coup as Chris Paul decided to join with James Harden. Harden resigned with the team on a 5 year deal worth 60 million dollars and Chris Paul took up a 4 year deal with 73 million dollars.
Chris Paul’s signing makes Jeremy Lin expendable and the Rockets are expected to deal Lin as soon as possible. Moving Lin may be hard though because of the structure of his contract. However, sources indicate that Lin is not wanting to stay in Houston as a bench player.Iguodala Convinced Smith To Stay

Andre Iguodala made the first move by signing a 4 year 52 million dollar deal and showed faith in the Atlanta Hawks franchise. The move convinced Josh Smith to stay in Atlanta.
“I can’t be more excited than I am now,” Smith stated, “I’m so happy that we have Iggy on the team. We have a playoff calibre team.”Knicks Sign Slew Of Players

JR Smith is pretty much gone and the Knicks signed four players with the extra cap space he leaves behind. Derek Fisher, Kenyon Martin, Dexter Pittman and Elton Brand all signed one year deals with the Knicks.
The signings makes the Knicks even older than they were last season. It is unsure as to how this will help the Knicks who struggled with injury and consistency during the last regular season.Bulls: Randy Foye New Starting SG

Randy Foye will most likely start at shooting guard for the Chicago Bulls as he was picked up on a 4 year 12 million dollar contract. Foye is excited to get a chance to start for the Bulls alongside Derrick Rose. The Bulls were also able to resign Taj Gibson and Joakim Noah.
hova- wrote:Splash! by the Rockets. Paul and Harden both need the ball in their hands but I think they will still be killers on offense. Iggy and Smoove is nice but not really something you have to fear in the East. I doubt the Hawks will improved drastically.
Mark. wrote:Yeah big play by the Rockets. Wonder who will snap up Lin, guess it will be a deal price so perhaps a team looking to make that next jump, perhaps a Detroit Pistons in a three way trade ?
hova- wrote:Sit, the question is: can Jeff Green really get you over the hump? I mean, still no star power. Maybe you can be a Pacers clone though.
Martti. wrote:I don't think you need Lin, you have Knight who has some potential still, Lin's pretty much set, don't see him becoming much better. Though Lin's defense in 2K is awesome, which could be useful.
