I dunno, but somehow I don't like having Bargnani and Love on one roster. Just too similar player types. Whilst getting Love is great because of his upside and him being an true All-Star, I think you should try to get rid of Bargs for a real center. Just my few cents.

To be fair, you can rebound pretty well with Bargs in 2K. I did five or so CAL games with him and was averaging like 14 rpg

Bargnani is one of my favorite players to use in 2K. I don't usually grab a ton of boards with him, but his height makes him a much better defender than in real life. Love's rebounding will definitely come in handy, as I believe Luol Deng was our leading rebounder last season.

You can keep him on players, so that instantly boosts his defense.

And he actually stretches the defense. Which 2K models to the position and not the player, as some people who have played me online can attest when I put three point bombers in as center when I need a late three...

Behind Love's 37 Points, Bobcats Hold Off Hawks In Opener
Bobcats 94, Hawks 87

Image

After a close first quarter, the Hawks blew the game wide open in the second quarter. Kevin Love had 24 of his 37 points in the first quarter alone and was unstoppable as the offensively stagnant Hawks trailed Charlotte by 18 at halftime.

Atlanta fell behind by as many as 23, but got back in the game in the third quarter when Love to the bench. The Bobcats were outscored by 19 points when Love was off the court, and consequently, that was when the Hawks made their runs in the third and fourth quarter, getting the game within 2 at one point with 4 minutes left in the fourth.

Brad Beal had an up-and-down game, out-rebounding Love and hitting a couple key shots. Despite playing well, his field goal clip was just 4-15. Love meanwhile had a tremendous debut in front of the home crowd, with 37 points and 8 rebounds on 15-21 shooting. He won this game. No doubt about that.

Charlotte Bobcats
Love: 37 pts, 8 rebs, 3 asts, 3 stls, 15-21 FG, 1-3 3pt, 6-8 FT, +26 (PotG)
Beal: 16 pts, 9 rebs, 4 asts, 4-15 FG, 1-6 3pt, 7-9 FT
Walker: 10 pts, 7 asts, 2 rebs, 4-10 FG

Atlanta Hawks
Horford: 23 pts, 11 rebs, 2 blks, 10-18 FG
Josh Smith: 16 pts, 9 rebs, 3 blks, 7-9 FG
Joe Johnson: 14 pts, 5 rebs, 4 asts, 2 stls, 6 fouls, 5-16 FG

Kings Forward Podolski Out For Season

Bad news for Kings' fans and second year player Dan Podolski, who will miss the season following microfracture surgery. Podolski was named to the all-rookie team last year as the Kings' back-up power forward.

Did I play in that first game, and if so, how did I do?... I'm hoping you sim most of the season so I can get on with my career.

Your team is taking form; that Rose trade would make you a true contender, as well as reuniting he and Deng.

I simmed the least amount of games this season, but it will go quick with 2K13 looming and me having played most of it already. Your injury occurred in a pre-season game, but you'll probably start next year unless they sign a better PF.

A little late, but you absolutely fleeced the Wolves on that trade, good job. I like Henderson but he certainly won't have the same impact Love does and I think Biyombo is not going to amount to much. A Love-Bargnani front court would probably get dominated defensively though, but that's a helluva a lot of offensive versatility. I like the Frank Vogel hiring, he's a really good coach I'm surprised that Indiana let him off the hook so easily.

November 2014 In Review:

Team Record: 11-4 | 1st in division, 1st in conference

Image Image

With the Heat having a shockingly rough start, Kevin Love and the Charlotte Bobcats have shot up to the top of the conference standings, with a 11-4 record. Love has seen his raw stats go down, while the recently extended Andrea Bargnani has become an uber-efficient sixth man. Bradley Beal has struggled with his shot, but the new faces have kept things together as Charlotte looks to be a force to be reckoned with.

[+] In another news, Ricky Rubio and Dan Podolski are both out for the season with torn MCL's. This is a major setback for the two young players.

Haha... He's not really that popular in the U.S. It's never really been too big of a deal sharing the last name with him. Now maybe if he was an NBA player...

DECEMBER 2014 IN REVIEW

Image
Bobcats Acquire Javale McGee In Four Player Trade

Image December 27, 2014 - Sitting at 19-8, one might think the Bobcats would stand pat. However, the Bobcats - movers and shakers as of late, made another big move, acquiring center Javale McGee from the Denver Nuggets, in exchange for center Omer Asik, guard John Jenkins, forward Elias Harris and Charlotte's 2015 second round draft pick.

Sitting a few games out of the playoff picture, Denver finally ends the Javale McGee experiment, getting a solid replacement center and some decent prospects in return. Denver will likely look to rebuild around stud rookie point guard Chris Hov, and could look to deal perennial all-star Danilo Gallinari as well. The Bobcats meanwhile acquire a legit 7 footer - enigmatic but effective, averaging 12 points and 8 rebounds per game this season. Their four big man rotation will be fearsome with Kevin Love, McGee, Bargnani and Pekovic.

Bobcats Trade Grade: A- | Nuggets Trade Grade: B

----------

Team Record: 19-10 (8-6) | 1st in division, 2nd in conference

The Bobcats continued their strong start to the season, but have fallen back to earth somewhat after their franchise-best 16-5 start and sit in second place in the East. Overshadowing the team's performance was the surprise acquisition of Javale McGee, who coach Frank Vogel calls "maybe the final piece to the championship puzzle". McGee has only played one game with the team, but had a solid 15 point, 7 rebound outing. Unfortunately, the game was a blowout loss to McGee's first team, the Wizards.
