All Smiles: NBAPA and Owners agree on a CBA
Finally. Oh finally we get our NBA back. No more black armed rookies in 2k12, or Hardwood Classics on NBA TV. We have our NBA back.
The NBAPA and Owners reached an agreement for 10 years, with an option for early termination on the 9th year.
"We are happy to get this agreement done." said David Stern at the press conference.
"Both sides got a great deal." said Billy Hunter.
The NBA also announced the procedure for the season. There will be a 82 game season, with playoffs and a trade deadline. The Playoffs will be the normal, 7-7-7-7.
"We are ready for a season," said LeBron James. "We've been waiting since July."
"I'm ready," said Kevin Durant.
"Basketball never stops. And it never will."

Hello Mr. Leonsis,
I have recently seen a vacant spot for a General Manager spot on your team, and my GM, Willie Lewis, is perfect for you.
You see, Mr. Lewis is a talented young man with a knack for acquiring talent. He built up our Mersey Tigers into contenders and led us to our first BBL championship.
You also might wonder why I am sending this. He deserves better than the BBL, way better.

Goodluck with this one!

Now back on topic, I'm following this, I can't wait to see where the Wizards end up!
Wizards announce new General Manager
The Washington Wizards have announced Willie Lewis as the new General Manager of the team after Ernie Grunfeld left for the Toronto Raptors.
"We are very excited to welcome Willie to the Wizards," said Ted Leonsis. "He blends in with the young energy that this team has. Wall, McGee, Vesely, and more to come."
"Well, coming from Britain back to the States feels great," smiled Lewis. "It's great to be GMing a great team, full of potential."
Lewis came from Britain, where he was Coach/GM for the Mersey Tigers, a team in the British Basketball League. He was with the team since they were formed in 2007 as the Everton Tigers, and led the team to its first title this past year. Lewis now takes over a young Wizards team, with star player John Wall.
"We're going to build around [Wall]. That's the whole point. I see a nice little combination between him and McGee, and Vesely is going to be a great presence. Nick Young has a great potential to be something amazing, and [Jordan] Crawford looks to me as a Jason Terry type player, a Sixth Man."
When asked how the lockout affected his plans, Lewis responded with confidence.
"This is a two year plan. By next year, we will be contenders. Hell, anything can happen in 29 games, we could win it all. But then we'd be stuck with an asterisk next to our championship."
"Overall, this team can be contenders, we just need one last piece. Whatever that piece is, it will come to us and the city, and lead us to a championship."

What to Watch For:
John Wall- John Wall is entering his second year in the NBA, and is ready to lead this Wizard team to victory. His speed and his new scoring mentality is something to watch for
Deron Williams- After playing a few games with Besiktas, can Williams use somethings he learned in Turkey with New Jersey?
Rookies- With barely any training camp, can the rooks show that they can play without a camp?
Prediction:
Wizards pull out a hard fought win, 98-90.
