Game 1: Ronny Ramos Has Awesome Rookie Debut In Overtime Against Cleveland
CLE: 26 | 48 | 72 | 104 || 113 | Gerald Henderson: 22 points (8-15 FG%, 2-6 3P%, 4-4 FT%), 6 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals, 0 blocks, 1 turnover, 1 foul
NCD: 19 | 51 | 74 | 104 || 123 | Ronny Ramos: 24 points (7-10 FG%, 0-0 3P%, 10-11 FT%), 10 rebounds, 2 assists, 0 steals, 4 blocks, 5 turnovers, 1 foul
Much in the same way Blake Griffin made his NBA debut, North Carolina Domination rookie Ronny Ramos kicked off his career with a bang. Just eleven seconds into his NBA debut, the 7'1 forward-center blazed down the lane, leaving Deron Williams in the dust. Ramos showed off his crazy hops for a big man, as he threw down the first dunk of his very promising career. Ramos had another pair of jams in the fourth quarter that helped the Domination reach overtime, but the majority of his 24 points came from different places on the floor. More than once, Ramos released a shot from twenty feet out, buried the shot, then on the very next position, drove into the lane and drew a foul, then sank both free throws. Cavalier forward JJ Hickson said after the game about Ramos, "I've never been more mismatched in my life. This guy is damn good. There have been very few big men with his combination of athleticism, shooting range, and strength to come through this league. I've never seen a rookie play this well in his debut." Hickson was held off the boards for most of the night by Ramos. Ramos outrebounded Hickson 10-4.
The game itself, even subtracting Ramos' eye-popping performance, was very exciting. Neither team even held a double-digit until Jared Dudley went off for eleven points in the overtime period. Corey Harrington made several key plays down the stretch, including two consecutive drawn offensive fouls on Deron Williams in the final two minutes of regulation. Jared Dudley and Rudy Fernandez played some outstanding perimeter defense on Nick Young and Gerald Henderson, holding the normally high-scoring pair to 2-13 from outside. Corey Harrington, in his first game back from knee surgery, only had one field goal, but played great D on Deron Williams. Josh Boone, Cleveland's long-time center, played some excellent defense on Tyson Chandler, holding the All-NBA center to just 7 points and 6 rebounds. Chandler fouled out before the fourth quarter even began. Normally, Chandler's absence would have spelled trouble for the Domination, but not this time. Ronny Ramos has already emerged.

Game 2: Blowout in Minnesota
MIN: 26 | 38 | 72 | 110 | Danilo Gallinari: 37 points (13-17 FG%, 6-8 3P%, 5-5 FT%), 2 assists, 1 rebound, 5 steals, 0 blocks, 1 turnover, 3 fouls
NCD: 39 | 74 | 99 | 130 | Jared Dudley: 32 points (12-19 FG%, 5-9 3P%, 3-3 FT%), 3 assists, 6 rebounds, 1 steal, 3 blocks, 3 turnovers, 1 foul
It was a blowout from the beginning. As an ESPN analyst put it, "What if the Domination had actually played both halves of the game?" The Domination outscored the not-supposed-to-be-so-pathetic-anymore Timberwolves 74-38 in the first half, then limited the starters' minutes in the second half, basically starting garbage time in the middle of the third quarter. Jared Dudley's amazing 23 points in the first half, earned him a nice long breather for most of the second half. He piled on another nine points and four rebounds in relaxed, careful play, and the Wolves considered themselves lucky that the Domination didn't punish them in the second half too. The Domination absolutely destroyed the Wolves on the boards 43-21 and allowed the Wolves only one offensive rebound.
The main thing that stands out, however, is that the Wolves shouldn't be anywhere as useless as they were in recent years. They have a solid quartet of Devin Harris, Ray Jackson, Danilo Gallinari, and Wilson Chandler, along with a lottery pick center, Allen. With a second rookie center, Adam Zoller, great backup point guard Eric Maynor, and solid backup forwards Omri Casspi and Larry Sanders, the team was expected to be a deep one that could at least become a borderline playoff team. But outside of Danilo Gallinari, who scored 37 points and grabbed five steals, the team "sucked", according to an ESPN analyst. "Hopefully they can get it together and play like the team they really should be. Minnesota's season debut failed. Horribly."

Game 3: The Mile-High Blake Show
DEN: 30 | 52 | 78 | 117 | Blake Griffin: 23 points (10-15 FG%, 0-0 3P%, 3-3 FT%), 18 rebounds, 6 assists, 1 steal, 1 block, 1 turnover, 1 foul
NCD: 32 | 54 | 76 | 103 | Ronny Ramos: 22 points (7-15 FG%, 0-0 3P%, 8-9 FT%), 13 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal, 3 blocks, 3 turnovers, 5 fouls
Once Carmelo Anthony got hot in the fourth quarter, there really wasn't a chance for the Domination to even get fired up enough to make a comeback. Anthony scored 17 on his 23 points and all of his four steals in the fourth quarter. Anthony was also helped out by Blake Griffin's 23/18, and JR Smith's 22 additional points. This "Big Three" combined 68 points, surpisingly LESS than their current season average of 72ppg. Maybe more important than Denver's potent offense, was the Nuggets' defense. Blake Griffin and Carmelo Anthony have improved their defense by leaps and bounds over the last year. Even Tiago Splitter and Norman Solomon, fifth or sixth options at best, have vastly improved all parts of their game, particularly their defense. They gave Tyson Chandler another tough night, and Chandler, a perennial All-Star center has officially started this season in a big-time slump, and he has not yet hit double-digits in rebounding, and has only scored ten points once so far this season. "That was one of the best all-around games Blake has ever played; I've got to hand it to him, he's a superstar," Chandler said in a post game interview.
Ronny Ramos had another excellent game, leading North Carolina with 22 points and 13 rebounds very efficiently. Jared Dudley managed 17 and 5 despite Carmelo's improved D, while Walter Herrmann and Malik Hairston each put in 14 from off the bench. Acie Law was ice cold, missing all eight of his shots and going just 2-6 from the stripe, while Kyle Anthony, Adam Morrison, and Ian Mahinmi were also complete nonfactors from off the bench. The Domination will fly west to Utah next, for a game with the Jazz.

Utah Sophomore Scores 32 In First Start, Domination Beat Utah
UTA: 26 | 53 | 62 | 87 | Kris Adams: 32 points (10-18 FG%, 5-8 3P%, 7-8 FT%), 7 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal, 0 blocks, 2 turnovers, 0 fouls [career-high points, rebounds]
NCD: 21 | 49 | 75 | 106 | Jared Dudley: 34 points (14-22 FG%, 5-13 3P%, 1-2 FT%), 2 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal, 2 blocks, 3 turnovers, 3 fouls
Last season, Kris "The K-Man" Adams, a 6'5 rookie guard was stuck behind CJ Miles, Tucker Winkler, and DJ Augustin in Utah's guard rotation. In the Jazz's first game of the season, they tried starting Adams and it works like a charm. Utah Jazz head coach Jerry Sloan said, "This guy's had it in him all along. He's letting it all out now, I'm telling you, there's more to come!" Adams averaged about four points and a rebound a game as a ninth or tenth man. Tonight, 32 points, 7 rebounds, and five threes- he scored approximately three times as much in his ENTIRE ROOKIE CAMPAIGN.
But the Domination had the means to counter this. Tyson Chandler broke out of his slump, posting a large statline, Jared Dudley burned up the hardwood for 34 points, while Ronny Ramos scored 15 points and 8 rebounds. Third year point guard Corey Harrington scored 14 points and 10 assists and played some killer defense on DJ Augustin, forcing the sub-6-foot guard to turn the ball over nine times. Forward Austin Daye made his Domination debut and played strong. Despite scoring just two points, he grabbed eight rebounds despite playing under a fourth of the game. Nenad Krstic also made his debut as a Domination, but was a nonfactor.
The turning point was, well, the entire third quarter. The Jazz scored just nine points to the Domination's 26. This included a 17-2 run led by some great playmaking from Corey Harrington, a killer dunk from Jared Dudley over Tucker Winkler, and a flurry of dazzling layups and dunks by Ronny Ramos and Tyson Chandler.
The domination continues.

Domination Come Up Short Against Hometown Rivals
CHA: 19 | 49 | 83 | 109 | Raymond Felton: 21 points (8-9 FG%, 1-1 3P%, 4-6 FT%), 11 assists, 4 rebounds, 2 steals, 0 blocks, 3 turnovers, 2 fouls
NCD: 19 | 47 | 74 | 100 | Jared Dudley: 29 points (11-23 FG%, 4-12 3P%, 3-4 FT%), 0 assists, 5 rebounds, 1 steal, 1 block, 3 turnovers, 4 fouls
The Bobcats seemed sort of lost when they found Josh Smith would miss most of the season with his injury. Instead of sitting around, waiting for Smith to get back, they moved Gerald Wallace to power forward, shifted Stephen Jackson from sixth man to starting small forward, and it worked. While the 6'7 Wallace is small for a power forward, he played extremely well, despite being matched up against the 7'1 Ronny Ramos. The All-Defensive forward defended Ronny Ramos really well, keeping Ramos to seven points, seven assists, and eleven rebounds. Wallace got seven rebounds and six blocks and took care of Ramos, while the Bobcats' giant rookie Zac Evans struggled with Tyson Chandler, who posted another double-double.
In the end, the Bobcats' backcourt outplayed that of the Domination. Aaron Brooks and Raymond Felton both played like All-Stars, and Aaron Brooks actually played defense and didn't push it all onto Raymond Felton! Felton is just as hot as any other guard in the NBA at the moment. Currently fifth in the league in both scoring and assists (27.5ppg, 11.0apg), Felton posted yet another 20/10 statline, while still playing top-notch defense on Corey Harrington despite a height disadvantage of five inches. "As long as I stay out of foul trouble, I can take down Corey. That's what I told myself and it worked," said Felton.

Three-Team Trade
Orlando receives: Gary O'Neal, Aaron Ingraham, Josh Childress, Terrence Williams
Phoenix receives: Taj Gibson, Ricky Richardson, Dominique Jones
Portland receives: David West, Daniel Gibson
Domination Come From Behind In Huge Win Over New Orleans
NOH: 32 | 60 | 98 | 127 | Goran Dragic: 27 points (8-12 FG%, 4-6 3P%, 7-8 FT%), 11 assists, 2 rebounds, 4 steals, 0 blocks, 7 turnovers, 3 fouls
NCD: 38 | 57 | 85 | 131 | Jared Dudley: 31 points (10-28 FG%, 7-18 3P%, 4-6 FT%), 2 assists, 11 rebounds, 1 steal, 3 blocks, 4 turnovers, 4 fouls
Four of New Orleans' starters were Dominators last season. One of their key reserves was also a reserve for the Domination. In return, the Hornets have given the Domination two key players: Rudy Fernandez and Ronny Ramos. The Henderson brothers are thriving in New Orleans; so are Shannon Brown and Nene. The Hornets, however, have certainly facepalmed since the trade that sent Ramos to the Domination in return for the Hendersons and Nene. Ramos is a nightly 20/10 threat, and is nearly guaranteed a block or two, a steal or two, and a couple of assists, plus Ramos is as versatile as a 7'1 forward-center can be.
Fernandez, however, seemed either unable or unwilling, to score on his former teammates! He either bricked or airballed all six of his three-point attempts. Shannon Brown and Goran Dragic torched him from the perimeter, the paint, and everywhere in between. Luckily for the Domination, other reserves were willing to help. Malik Hairston chipped in eleven points, while Walter Herrmann added thirteen more. By the end of three quarters, the Domination found themselves down thirteen points, and they decided they were ready to do something about it.
Jared Dudley knew Alex Henderson's hotspots, and kept him away from the corner any time possible. Tyson Chandler remembered how he used to manhandle Nene in practice, by simply clogging the paint with his huge frame. Even Adam Morrison was able to help out, by blocking a pair of Shannon Brown's easily-blocked jump shots. In the end, the Domination pulled off a huge turnaround behind a clutch performance by Jared Dudley, who, coming into the fourth quarter, was shooting 3-13 from outside. He made four of five in the final quarter, and two of them were in the final two minutes.

In the Latest "What The FUCK?" News, Aaron Ingraham Makes Sacramento Kings Debut With 25 Assists
SAC: 29 | 61 | 97 | 129 | Aaron Ingraham: 11 points (4-6 FG%, 2-3 3P%, 1-2 FT%), 25 assists, 0 rebounds, 1 steal, 0 blocks, 9 turnovers, 4 fouls [career-high points, assists- ties NBA record for most assists by a rookie]
NCD: 22 | 53 | 83 | 113 | Jared Dudley: 23 points (7-18 FG%, 5-11 3P%, 4-4 FT%), 2 assists, 3 rebounds, 2 steals, 1 block, 4 turnovers, 1 foul
Yes, we're talking about the same guy who has been playing NBA basketball for two months, and is already on his third team. It's probably safe to say the Kings want to keep this guy as long as they can. Ingraham clearly knows how to distribute the rock, but really??? 25 assists? It ties an NBA record for most assists by a rookie, set by Ernie DiGregorio and Nate McMillan in the 70s and 80s. The more major question, is are the now 7-0 Kings going to remain near the top of the league? After their big win over the Domination, this young team has a lot to think about. They traded their leading scorer Eric Gordon to Orlando for an All-Star big man in Zach Randolph, and Ingraham was simply an afterthought in the trade. The Kings definitely lucked out in this trade.
They also played an extremely good game for a team that has had just been shaken by a blockbuster trade. Eight players scored double-digits for the Kings, while Tyreke Evans was very efficient in leading the team with 24. In fact, the whole team was extremely efficient. The Kings shot a blistering 75% from the field and were also 4-5 from behind the arc. Do you want to guess who made half those threes? Aaron Ingraham. The sub-6-foot guard didn't do much defending, but anyhow, he had a game for the ages.

Domination Come From Behind To Beat Bucks
MIL: 33 | 61 | 91 | 114 | Stephen Curry: 39 points (9-22 FG%, 5-12 3P%, 16-17 FT%), 9 assists, 1 rebound, 1 steal, 0 blocks, 9 turnovers, 5 fouls
NCD: 24 | 51 | 79 | 121 | Ronny Ramos: 26 points (9-12 FG%, 0-0 3P%, 8-9 FT%), 0 assists, 10 rebounds, 0 steals, 2 blocks, 4 turnovers, 3 fouls
It's safe to say the Bucks don't miss Brandon Jennings too much. Stephen Curry's automatic shooting makes him a better fit for the Bucks, who don't exactly have many sharpshooters. Their only true sharpshooter before the trade was an injured Peja Stojakovic. If Curry starts scoring like THIS all the time, the Bucks would be amazed, but then again, Curry has been torching the Domination for years. He's scored 39 before. Rookie Ray Barrett was also automatic from the field, shooting 77% from inside the arc, without attempting a three. He also played excellent defense on Walter Herrmann, forcing him to take contested jump shots.
Ronny Ramos was huge on both ends. With 26 points, 10 rebounds, and 2 blocks, he showed his all-around game, while playing solid defense on Andris Biedrins. He shot well from the field and the stripe, and was excellent at getting to the line. He led the huge fourth quarter comeback in which the Domination outscored the Bucks 42-23 to go from a twelve point deficit at the end of the third, to finish seven points up. After the game, Jared Dudley spoke one line in an interview, "Ronny Ramos, welcome to the North Carolina Domination. You're staying here."

Domination Beat Grizzlies, But Lose Ramos Along The Way
MEM: 14 | 42 | 66 | 96 | Tyrone Tyndell: 28 points (11-20 FG%, 5-10 3P%, 1-4 FT%), 4 assists, 2 rebounds, 2 steals, 0 blocks, 1 turnover, 2 fouls [career-high 3PM/3PA]
NCD: 19 | 43 | 70 | 106 | Jared Dudley: 28 points (12-20 FG%, 3-7 3P%, 1-1 FT%), 5 assists, 8 rebounds, 1 steal, 4 blocks, 4 turnovers, 2 fouls
The Domination's star rookie will most likely miss about a month after spraining his foot in the early minutes of the fourth quarter. Ramos tripped over Emeka Okafor's foot on a fast break, and Ramos twisted his foot on the floor. Ramos was helped off the court and will miss 2-4 weeks with the injury.
After the incident, Tyson Chandler, who had been held to two points and four rebounds in the first three quarters before Ramos left the game, kicked his game up a notch, registering nine points and six rebounds in the fourth quarter, helping the Domination open a ten point lead to close out the game.
The Grizzlies were carried by rookie sensation Tyrone Tyndell. The rookie averaged 27.7 points per game in his first nine games in the league, and continued his scoring onslaught with 28 points. He scored more threes in this game (5) than in the nine games prior to this one combined (4). With his 22% clip from outside this season, it is clear his shot selection needs some work, but tonight's 5-10 performance from deep showed potential there as well. T-T threw down awesome slams, drained shots from downtown, scorched the Domination defense from mid-range, but clenched up when he got to the foul line, or had to make defensive plays. Tyndell was also prone to getting his mid-range shots blocked, which Jared Dudley took full advantage of. Dudley blocked four shots in the game and made Tyndell's defense look like a joke. Even Adam Morrison was able to do similar things to Jared Dudley on offense, knocking down four treys and even pulled off a key steal late in the game that likely sealed the deal for the Domination.
