Note: since live 08 starts in the 07-08 season, and i dont want to sim a season, i would play 07-08 as if it was 08-09, so all years would be moved back by one year

2nd Note: Most Likely i would do weekly updates, playing in some games, simming others, intervene some. one game of the week would be done via recap, cause 82 game season is too long for every game to write recaps on...

"Morning Everyone"
The New Major Owner of the Charlotte Bobcats greets his workers as he goes into his office, just as he does every morning, and turns on his computer to check his email..
"oh, whats this?" wondered Jordan when he read one of his latest mail, sent by someone he does not know, labeled "Ideas to make the Bobcats better"...
"Interesting.." - said Jordan, as he started to type up a reply mail to the sender, asking for a phone number for contact"

10 minutes later..

"Secretary, what do you need Mr Jordan?"
"could you get me Rod in my office in 20 minutes time? and send me Larry immediately, thanks"
"No problem"


"Hey there michael, what do you need?" asked Larry Brown as he entered Jordan's office.

"Larry, i just got this email from this guy that lives in Hong Kong regarding improvements to our team, he's got a pretty good look on things and has some great ideas, what do you think?"

"what, you mean hire him as GM and fire Rod?"

"yes, i mean, we gave rod time, and he hasnt done a nice job so far, best move he made was firing Sam Vincent..."

"I don't mind, as long as the new guy has the ability to bring in guys that can play the right way, its all good with me"

Higgins comes in

"oh hey Rod, sit down, we got a few things to discuss with you" - said Jordan

"Michael..Larry, what is it?"

"well, we have been discussing it, and we gave you a year, but.." Michael began to speak

"wait, wait, give me some more time, i promise you, i got this season in the bag, we are gonna make the playoffs this season, just give me one more season to prove myself!" begged Higgins

"No Rod, a change is needed here, i am sorry, but time has run out, and i am getting laughed at by the team's poor performance, and i think you've lost it...You're Fired"

thud

"sigh, Larry, call 911 and get us an ambulance, we'll pay for his medical bills, last thing we can do anyway."

"alright, but man, getting fired is enough for him to faint, bad decision hiring him Mike"

"please don't remind me of that Larry, it is as embarrassing as it is without adding to it.."

"yawn...i wonder if i would get a reply from MJ" said Leo as he finishes his homework for the day and logs onto his email account.

a message entitled Are you interested? sits in the email folder, Leo opens it curiously...

"To whom may it concern
Jordan here, after reading through the email you've sent me, i would like to ask a few things, please contact me via the Bobcats office number"

"WOAH, did Michael Jordan just asked me to call him? holy shit!" Leo yelled in excitement as he reaches for the phone...

20 minutes later, he was packing his bags and took a cab towards the Hong Kong International Airport for a flight to Charlotte.

"Michael, are you sure about this? the kid is only 17, he hasnt even graduated from his High School Yet!" asked Larry Brown

"Yes Larry, i am sure, besides, he's got some great ideas for the team, i am surprised actually, he showed some maturity and a deep understanding of the business, the game, the organization, and the league in general, I think he'll do well, you will like him, he's a basketball player himself" answered Jordan

"alright...gonna have to wait and see...i'll trust you on this one Mike"

"Hello, Leo speaking" said Leo as he picked up his phone

"Hey there Leo, Michael here, just wondering if you could come over to the conference room right now to have a discussion with me and Larry with regards to the team"

"Yeah sure, be right there"

2 Minutes Later, in the Bobcats Conference Room...

"Hello Leo, glad you could join us" said Jordan and Brown as the young GM walks into the room

"Hey, so sup? What do you guys think about the teams? what kind of moves would you like me to look for?"

"Well, me and Larry discussed it, and we want to build around three guys"

"Let me guess, Emeka, DJ, and Jason?"

"...that was fast, anyways, what do you think the team is lacking?" asked Jordan, with a little bit of surprise in his tone due to Leo's quick response

"Well, as of now, we lack firepower. J-Richardson is doing well, but he seems to be the only one doing well, we can count on him to put up some points all night long, but the other scorer on the team, Gerald Wallace, he doesnt produce as well when we play him at the 3, but if we play him at the 4, he would be undersized, he has helped the team alot ever since the expansion draft, but this is an issue we have to deal with now; Emeka needs to work on his offensive moves, and we'll just have to hope DJ has what it takes to be a pass first point guard." answered Leo

"You talked about moving Gerald? what kind of player are you looking for in return?" Larry asked, curious

"well, since we have our point guard already, i say we move Wallace and Nazr for big guys, cause i dont really want to see Emeka playing undersized Center again, and Nazr just cant do that. move Emeka to the PF position, play DJ at the point and Matt at the 2, Richardson at the 3, and the big guy, who ever he is, at Center, i think thats our best immediate option" answered Leo after a quick thought

"Good idea, see who you can find, and try to get us under the cap while you are at it" said Michael

"alright thanks boss"

"hum...who would be willing to take both Wallace and Mohammad for a good quality center? darn.." thought Leo as he looked at info and analysis all over the web for some hints

ring...ring...

"Hello, Leo speaking" answered Leo as he picks up his phone

"Hey there Leo, i am the GM of the Phoenix Suns, Steve Kerr. First off, congratulations on becoming a GM, you have made history as the youngest GM ever!"

"oh hey there Steve, thanks. but sup?"

"oh, regarding that, what would you want for Gerald Wallace?" asked Kerr

"well, is amare available?" said Leo, half serious as he tests Kerr's reaction as to how far he would go to get his hands on Wallace

"well..he is our future, wallace is not going to be as productive, so sorry man, its going to be a no"

"thats ok, i am looking for a big guy in return, can Lopez be included in a package for Wallace?"

"Lopez is not going to be traded, but if you are looking for big guys, there is always the Big Cactus, he doesnt fit into our system that well"

"Shaq? dudes got a 20 million dollar contract...well..unless you can take Nazr Mohammad and Adam Morrison off my team, then its a deal" answered Leo thoughtfully

"Mohammad and Morrison? hum....alright, i accept, let me get this deal done on paper and get league approval, nice dealing there Leo"

"thanks Steve"

5 minutes later

"puff puff, hey Mr Jordan!!"

"I told you man, call me Mike or something, Mr Jordan is too formal, but whats the hurry?"

"I got us our big guy" answered Leo as he caught his breath

"already? who is it? Howard? Yao? Tyson?"

"nope, i got us The Diesel"

"WHAT!!! YOU GOT US A 20 MILLION DOLLAR, 36 YEAR OLD WHO AVERAGED JUST A BIT OVER 10-10 LAST SEASON? HAVE YOU GONE MAD? Who did you send?" Yelled Michael in disbelieve

"woah calm it Boss, i sent Wallace, Mohammad, and Morrison" answered Leo

"oh..thats better, but i hope for your sake this is worth it..."

"it will work out in the end boss...err Michael"

"I hope so, too tired of losing, at least you got my nightmare Mohammad and Morrison outta here"
