Jazz Franchise

I'm playing 8 mins a quarter, super star level with maximal criteria of fouls. And it's damn hard! 31-35 I'm third in the Mid-West, 7th in the western conference and I'm a bit concerned will I get to the playoffs at all.
I might add that the scoreboard in 95% of games I played seldom showed
bellow 120-130. And that sucks. What a simulation reality!
Anyway, I also tried franchise with tweaked rosters, and they showed quite fine during the gameplay. But after you finish the first season, stats of many players in the league begins to "fade" really quick. :x

Yea I notice the same. I need to modify (heavily) the FG, 3pt and block ratings of all players to get some realistic game results.
But I cannot tweak the sim engine so basically I am making every player sh!t and I end up with no stars but so so players in my league.

Yeah, I hear ya. I've been having the same problem.
I guess I'm just going to take it for what it is. A non-realistic sim. I'm going to hope for 2004 to be more realistic hopefully. If not, i'm just going to move all my bball sim and gaming over to sega's NBA2K series on a console. I hear it more realistic.

fix the high scores

Postby teebeebee1 on Mon Dec 02, 2002 8:57 am

It's simple really, just play 7 minute quarters instead of 8, i was scoring way too many point, but at 7 minutes you can gun it or set it up and you always come out with realistic scores, it's great.

it's not that simple actually. i'm already pissed off for not playing 12 mins a quarter, (like i used to play in nba live 2001) 'cause there's just too many damn points.
but thanx anyway

playing 7 minutes will help get realistic scoring, but what about other stats?
I play 8 minutes, but because of the lack of missed shots, the reboundin numbers are low.
